This really happened to me recently. I was in Hunza, talking to a hotel dealer, when a wealthy person in a Land Cruiser showed up. The dealer immediately stopped talking to me and started helping the other person. I didn’t like it, so I left and found another hotel. If he didn't want to listen to me, I didn't want to stay there either.

Yeh heqeqat sirf hunza ki nhi har jaga ki, logo ma itnia saleeqa nhi k dosry sy bat kis tarrah karni hai. agr koi 125 wala kesi dukan py jai toh dukandar seedhy mu sy bat tak nhi karta aur waheen py achi gari wala ho toh wo us ka lota ban jata hai. hamary nabi(SAW) ky ikhlaq ki kya example hai aur hamari society kis tarag ja rahi hai app khud dekh sakty hen.

You are absolutely right about Hunza, Skardu and Gilgit; they don’t even care about the foreigners.
Visiting Hunza in the off-season, like late September or October, offers a different experience. During my solo trip from Islamabad to Khunjerab on my CB150, I stayed a night in Karimabad. The hotel owner was friendly and accommodating, but I noticed that the market prices were quite high and everything felt more commercialised.
If you're looking for better value, nearby areas offer more affordable accommodations. As Dr. Sahab mentioned, you can also find local markets with dry fruits and other products at half the price you'd pay in the main bazaar.

I rarely comment but everything you have said about Hunza's hospitality landscape is true. I started traveling to Hunza in 2017 and I can second every single observation you have made about the behaviour of the locals there. Lekin bhai showroom wala udhar ka local nae lag raha :D
I suggest Dr Sb plan a trip to yasin valley phandar valley.. Not much explored area..... Nature at its best....
Hunza side is too much crowded now....
I first time visited hunza in 2006-07... That natural hunza was so different to the one I visited in 2017... Although I had Gr8 memories of 2017 trip as well..

Aakhir me ye baat bhi zaroori hai k hamaray local tourist zada tar un k values ki izzat bhi ni krty or ye ek reactionary approach bhi ban jati hai k un k sath wesa he rawayya rakha jaye...dono taraf he awareness ki kami nazar ati hai.

LOL!!!! FYI Hunza is an entire region. Gulmit, Passu, etc falls under Hunza. Within Hunza, there are so many villages, and yes Minapin Nagar is a different district. We have live in Lahore for quite some time & we have not always been loved. We never made a video on how the people of Lahore are or how they treat us? Just because you had a bad experience doesn't give you the right to blame the entire region.
