My favorite parts of this video - the ice cream sandwich… the crunch was audible and it’s cool that you liked it. The other part was after the mouse exited the bag and you thought it’d run up your let. That made me chuckle! Lol 😂 🐁 🛻 🏕
Thankfully there are great companies/apps like onX OffRoad that sponsor great channels/creators like Talon. You definitely deserve to be paid for all the work that goes into your great videos/content.
Hey Talon, Great video. I'm not sure why people aren't seeing your video releases. I get them all in my feed but I also 👍 them to help push your channel.
Super jealous cause I want to go camping so much but have to drive way too far to get somewhere cool enough that I can. That thing you boiled your water in was really cool looking as well.
@@TalonSei nice, I live in South Florida and if I see a stillwater pond like that and tons of dragonflies, I know that it's going to be a really bad night, hahaha. Anyway, I'm a jealous man watching you overland. I spent 2 years and all of my money converting a Dodge Promaster 2500 to an RV, and on the second day of moving into my van (I leased out my house), less than 18 hours after starting my new journey on life, I was rear-ended by a large lawn maintenance truck and trailer. That was back in 12/6. Here it is, 8 months later and the autobody repair had been waiting on a hinge for the last 3 months. I've had to live with my parents the last 8 months because of this. Hopefully the needed hinge is finally found and I can get back into vanlife. Unfortunately, a lot has changed in the 3+ years that I've been building, planning, and preparing for vanlife. Oh well, that's life. Thank you for all the great videos and maybe we'll run in to each other some day, although my Promaster cannot go where your Taco goes. Which makes me think of how much I miss my 4-Runner that I sold just before starting my 18 hours of vanlife. For the last 8 months I've been wishing that I didn't sell my 4-Runner (I have been wishing I didn't get rear-ended even more), put a roof rack tent on it and started overlanding.
Double cab long bed! My 3rd gen 4Runner is my trail rig but I have a 2018 dclb TRD sport and I love it. Come check out uwharrie national forest sometime!
I'll have to check out those ice cream sandwiches; we're headed to the San Juan's this afternoon for the next week or so to camp and those might come in handy!
Hey Talon! I've been a big fan of your channel since you got the Tacoma! Have you done any of the Colorado passes like Engineer, Ophir, Imogen or Black Bear pass?
Top notch content as always. Happy belated 30th. I just rolled over 3 decades old yesterday as well. You’re definitely living life to the fullest. I’m envious.
I have a question for ya Talon: what do you do when you are out on the road and are trying to upload vids? It's a constant battle for me; spending hours in parking lots because the WIFI at coffee shops are either non-existent, or just as bad as my phone's hotspot. right now I'm sitting in a field with a clear view of a Verizon 5g tower in Gunnison. 4 bars, perfect reception but my DL speeds are 10mbps and up is a dismal 2mbps. it's insanely frustrating knowing that I've been here for 2 hours, and am likely to be here for another two. just waiting...hoping that my connection stays consistent enough to be able to load this video up. I already missed one drop time cause I was up in Ironton with no reception as well. I tell ya...times like this make me wonder why I even do this. rant over.
It’s rough sometimes which is why I haven’t been posting as much lately. Sometimes I’ll use a coffee shop other times my phone but typically I just wait until I have a solid connection to upload.
@@TalonSei yeah I guess the biggest problem I am facing, especially in the summer, is I need to time uploading in the early morning or late evening because my pup has to sit in the truck with me. and it is hot as soon as I drop into areas that have decent reception any other time of the day. so I guess here I am...sitting....waiting...hoping! at least it's a cozy 61 out. and I have a wonderful view of the highway that will take me back up into the mountains.
Missed opportunity for a Testies with that ice cream sandwich
Cool

Nothing in East of Canada with OnX! I would like to try it :o
Miss you homies already!
Good luck with everything! I’ll cya soon 🤘🏼
I like the look of the rooftop ⛺ excellent aero Dynamic look
Perks for a long bed and short tent 👍🏻
How do you fill up your gas tank in the mountains? Do you use your spare gas jugs attached to your truck?
Nice camp spot. Now its time to re-up on some ice cream sandwiches for mysel....er.....the kids. Definitely the kids.
😂😂
I have eaten a lot of freeze dried meals while backpacking. I can honestly say that Mountain House meals typically rate at the top.
Love you dude. Keep pushin and we’ll keep watching.
Hey Talon. Which do you like traveling in better? Sat Van or Tacoma? Each has its pros and cons.
Hard to pick one because of the pros and cons. Van is better for long distance, truck can get to way gnarlier spots

Great trip, let’s get some more ice cream sandwiches soon!

My GMC 2500 could get up there, right?
Bullshit algorythm... NO notification of a new video. Keep up the good fight, Talon!!
The more you like the videos and comment the better 👍🏻

Love the videos Talon. Been following you since the very beginning. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks Michael 👊🏻
Nice video. I remember the first time I tried freeze dried ice cream when I worked at a backpacking store in Tulsa, OK in the 70s. Very crunchy...
I used to live in Frisco. I'd LOVE to see a trip there or Breck. I'm pretty sure I've seen your older videos when you were there

Thanks! Here’s a video of it - ruclips.net/video/m7F2Go2Z6eI/видео.html
What are those shades? Looks nice
Leupold. Apparently I can’t wear them when I film cuz the camera can’t focus on my eye lol
I've been looking for a visor thing as well. Thats pretty slick!
What is that grey hoodie you were wearing?? So fire.
It’s from Melanzana
Dragonflies favorite food are mosquitoes. I imagine it gets pretty itchy around that little ponf at night hahaha
I was surprised, it wasn’t too bad

Those jalapeno cheddar Johnsonvilles, are the shizzle.
So glad I found this channel. Love watching llod and this just adds to my enjoyment. Keep it up Talon.
Could go for an old mailtime vid man...not gonna lie! Either way, thanks for sharing!
I would love to but that would require opening another PO box and USPS hates me already lol
9:08 Can't say I've ever heard anyone say hammock like that. Interesting.
Good video. Camp spot looks awesome.🤘

Dig the ep bro! That trail food looked good!
Talon great video. Would definitely love to see Sam in more videos.
