The absolute BEST who ever played the Diatonic
I could cry, oh man oh man, such an icon! That hat, those glasses, down to that white shirt and that stage presence and yes...that playing. All business, hard-driving, no frills. The king.
Pure old time Cajun music is so rare now. It’s a shame young people don’t know about these old time players.
I love the way Mr. ACE Aldus Roger plays his accordion in this song,, he is certainly in one of the the top 5 of the 10 pauvre vieux non-forgettable Cajuns I will always enjoy listening to. May God bless this slowly fading French speaking culture.
I am a Texan not Cajun but I can really appreciate this music. Love the accordion he was really great.
Keep 'em coming! Awesome. Great collection. What classic shows. I like Happy Fats in the beginning. Great job Bryan.
That guitar is worth about a million dollars now days.......
Even though I have the full video and can watch it anytime I want, it is still exciting to see these clips on the net. Good job.
Le Piquant
NO one played the steel guitar like that...ever!

Yes, you can see the brand at 1:50 min. It's a Sterling.
@Goethefemme Who do you think Paul learned it from ;-)
@hajimaji Sterlings were made in Germany. The facory was destroyed during WWII.
Any idea when that Sterling would have been made?
You all have to admit, Mr Paul Daigle does a good job on this, too.
Willie cormier on bass
What year would you say this recording was from? The late 80s?
Jessamyn J Doan i think the other video was shot on this same day and i think it said 1968 or 1972.anyway its old .thats why its strong 💪 pure cajuns, not watered down
Sterling? Of course.
