Why would I not have the Audio Device section in the Menu portion of Audio... its just not there.. I just have Global... and the main Audio but NOT Audio devices.... any thoughts..?????
i dont understand what people mean by they cant hear any footsteps im on ps5 and can hear everything apart from zip lines i just needed new settings to make them louder now i hear everything twice as loud
i have a feel the new advanced audio setting option (which has a paid version) has something to do with it. That being said, mine isn't quite as bad you've described there haha
For years everyone complain about bad audio (footsteps), and they after all that time do this, you bearly hear any footsteps. really tarded. Company that makes audio have some really stupid people there. They even braging about that positional/3d/super duper/ audio engine, where in fact it has zillion holes in it. And NO, that payed audio will not help at all, It's just spectrum calibration for non-even hearing ears, wich actually can make things worse, since even that they didn't make properly, and never will.
The Audio is garbage in this game. They got greedy and want you to pay for the audio pack so they make money and you can hear the game like it should be.

The update seems to have bugged audio in certain environments, and actually the update looks to have bugged a couple of things (like weapon damage)

your teammates footsteps are always quieter, but it does generally need tweaking
