Welcome to Nevada! Haha, I have used that exact campsite. I seem you made friends with the Mormon Crickets. You should see a year where the swarms are so thick they cover everything. The roads are like ice, slippery with their guts.
Cut a fuse in two , solder each half to a bulb ( 20w) then place the dummy fuse in the slot that blows.. the bulb will change in brightness as you locate the short… You could have a few dummy fuses with different wattage bulbs
You ran into the dreaded Mormon crickets they're all in the Northwest starting from Utah all the way up into Washington and sometimes they'll completely cover a road and make it slick as snot

The crickets are call Mormon crickets. They can become a problem at time. When they swarm on to a road and get run over, the others come out to eat the dead. The roads get so slick they have crashes. Ask me how I know. On second thought don’t.

I blame #chadsfab he should have known there would be a problem in the factory harness. I mean, @robbylayton gave him about 48 hours to wire everything. Why did he bother to sleep? Just kidding everyone did some amazing work on the bus.
How do you run an offroading app but are afraid of crickets? Let me know when you guys have hired somebody who isn't afraid of bugs and I may watch the next video. I couldn't even finish this one.
Calling in Casey La Delle is ALWAYS the right move when you need a tow! www.youtube.com/@CaseyLaDelle But asking Robbie Layton to do the vehicle build is the exact opposite, big mistake. Layton Autobody does truly excellent autobody and paint work but no way I'd ever have them them do a complete offroad vehicle build. Just too far outside their area of specialization.

I have 2006 e450, replaced my wire harness earlier this year. Diesel engine harnesses see a lot of oil. Best of luck.
