Hi Sven! Long time fan here. I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into producing high quality content. I am not sure you realise how much value you create for a lot of us! We are very grateful!
Hi Sven, do you have any thoughts on Burberry? Lowest stock price in 14 years with good buyback scheme and dividend (though I can't see that staying at the current level). The debt is a concern but that's why the price is where it is. Cheers :]
At 250 and 20 PE I think is a no brainer for the next 5 years. Although there is a potential recession scenario where this could go to 10 PE although extremely unlikely. What do you think Sven ? Potential downside limited ?
Sven, let's get back to value investing. Do Enbridge next. They own irreplaceable infrastructure, dividend almost 8%. Lots of debt, but they made pretty significant acquisitions
My formula: Not a fan of clothing companies + Possible (not probable) 'Yoga fad' = I need a deeper margin of safety. I quantify everything; Mr. Graham is in my blood.
Thanks Sven.great video! If they have to go international to boost their sales. This suggests that the runway will not make this stock a multi bagger. If the sales in the us slowed down because of competition. Then this is even scarier. As the competition may chase them in the international market. I will pass this stock
Hi Sven, I'd love if you could deal with the following topic in a future video: in a market driven by a probable tech-bubble, and in which however there are also several stocks that are in their 52-week low, what effect would have a possible correction of tech stocks on share prices in other sectors, or do you think there would be no contagion effect? Thank you.
I really dislike the brand and that's the best thing they have, the same is with Nike and with Addidas. You proved me wrong Sven, many times, but I really dislike clothing and brandstores. Innovation and marketing is the most important thing for these type of companys, trying to compete with Nike or Addidas for market share in Europe or Asia, while I also have the option to buy a cheap brandless yoga pants. But I do understand why brandstores had done great. Especially during and shortly after the Corona pandemic, my favorite example is inditex! Its a spanish company, that has big brands for clothing and their stores are located all over world. But I find their clothing to be cheaper than its stock currently.
I worry about clothing and fashion. It seems to change so quickly. It won’t be long before someone else makes the same comfortable tights for less that a celebrity is wearing. I mean in what who would have thought chunky New Balance shoes would become a fashion craze? I’m lost
only on financials alone, the probability of the stock giving you 15% return (my target for investing) is 35%. obviously, this is not bad, but it all depends on your appetite for risk. as a value investor, the current price for lululemon is too expensive for me.
Love the joke, by they way i do Yoga, but have no Lululemon, i do it even on my canadian lumberjack shirt its more comfortable than fancy narrow clothes from Lulu. Tell your wife this pls.
Agreed. Nike is like Coke. Lulu is Virgin Cola or maybe 7up. While Lulu may ride the wave and get a boost from expansion. It's losing its core customer: women. And looking to men and International to take up the slack. I don't see men filling the gap for long.
My ex asked me to buy her a lot of Lululemon clothes. Told me it was a good purchase. So far, I have not seen any return on that investment
😂😂😂
Dump it while you can
Only ever buy them lingerie. Never ever clothes.
A lot of that brand on the 2nd hand market
:-))))

Wow, thanks!
"300 bucks like all the lululemons out there." lol.
Keep up the great work; the joke was a nice change of pace.

How did Mr Graham get in? Through front door or back door or did he get in from the top deck? 😂😂
thanks for sharing!

He got through inception 😅

Waiting for the charlie munger its retail quote! I like it though, every Lulu store is packed with shoppers, great investment at these prices IMO!
eventually it happens, but that is why you need to move with retail and fashion
Thanks Sven.great video!

Thanks, Sven - you stretched to Lulu in the end 🙂
hahaha
Can you do a stock analysis on lvmh be intresting to see your take on this luxury brand which has taken a big dip in its share price
I am shorting MC to under 500eur..
still too expensive!
Sven, any thoughts on "ONON"?
don't know :-(
Maybe you could revisit nike with a 19 PE
yes!
@@Value-Investing It went below $250 today, as some influencer and people on forums did not like the new leggins... Too cheap to ignore now?
looks much better now at 235. Ay thoughts Sven?
PE and debt ratio should be mentioned.
Thanks for the analysis Sven. Can I ask you to do an Estee Lauder analysis? It's down to 2017 lows.
I don't know what crazy boom was that!!!
Hello Sven, thanks for the clip. There is also a lot of room to grow on the men side of their business.
what man?
@@Value-Investing You should try their shorts or their dress pants. I strongly recommend haha

Hilarious yoga advice!
I enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Appreciate you Sven!

Hello Sven, Could you do review on PDD groth stock?
that is an interesting one!
Great video, Sven! I'd love to see more updates on LULU as time goes on. I am definitely bullish on this one!
we will see how it goes
What about VF Corp.? Anyone knows the reasons of this situation? Curiosity. Just because brands are very cool. Thanks
Thanks for Sharing, Sven
My pleasure!
Hi sven, could you analyze the IT sector that has been declining for a year and a half. It would be good to analyze Globant. Thanks
a hard sector...

if the market goes down, everything goes down
@@Value-Investing Then, we're doomed! Better save some cash for what's coming I guess
Sven how about Sketchers? The financials look a lot better than Nike or Lulu.
yes, but still fashion...
It's a trendy brand for 40bio market cap. Will go down, easily under 200usd if a recession hits.
thanks for sharing!

you can't invest in new balance
I’m glad you checked. I wouldn’t…
that is the environment, something like pharma
Sven, you wear $300 bucks so very well...
Haha😂

I agree
I agree with your assessment of LULU but love the joke more lol. Not sure how your wife reacted to that? haha.
:-)))) she laughed!

I buy the stock but the product? 80 dollar cotton mens shirt? nah.

j stay away from fashion companies. I get burned any time. I try to find value in fashion companies
a difficult business!

We all know Sven's wife is a great stock catalyst. Buy!
:-)))))
Your joke summerizes why you should not go near this company
:-))) but don't get confused, there is plenty of money around and people that buy!
smh, no one is interested in your wifes purchases
Be careful. He is sensitive.
be careful, and hope that my wife doesn't see this :-)))
As a long term investor, my question is will people be spending their Universal Income at Lulu in 5 years after the AI 🤖replacement of jobs 🤔
will AI clean your toilet? Will it teach your kids? There will be plenty of new jobs. Here you can't find a worker....
Nike fPE is 24 while LULU fPE is 23.....i just see another "Under Armour" when i look at LULU so I always prefer Nike in long term
