- Its been a great year everyone. I wasn't planning on posting any vids in this month of December but I saw a posting on twitter asking if I would have a pickups video coming out soon. I figure I just put one together for all of you that have continued to support my channel though out the years.
It took a bit to get this one put together as my main computers mother board went out on me so I had to use another computer that wasn't as powerful as my old one.

love Bubble Bobble... I wish Taito would do another arcade collection like they did in the xbox and PS2 era. For me as a kid I grew up on the Amiga version, which was a really faithful port and have so many great memories. Have to say though the NES version looks really solid.

My earliest memories in life are playing Bubble Bobble next to my Dad. He'd lose on purpose from time to time, to make me mad, and I would punch him as hard as I could and he would laugh lol. Great memories. Bubble Bobble is my favorite NES game ever, besides Mario 3 and Silver Surfer (don't laugh). Thanks for another great video Reggie! Demon Turf was a pretty darn good Mario 64 style game. When you get good at the moves you feel like you can go anywhere.

I just picked up another Sega Saturn Import, which was The Game Tengoku: The game paradise, but I picked up the version that comes with the Anime OVA on vhs...and lemme tell you, its Mint! Also, I picked up road 96 on your suggestion last year and beat it. I put it down after and just recently started playing it again. Such a great game. I wonder how you feel about emulation? I recently was cataloging my collection still in the process actually but bought adventure island 2 CIB and luckily stumbled onto adventure island 3 a week before, was like oh man I have a set now while cataloging I saw I was missing the original. So I freaking bought it today to complete the set such a good game. 👍and series. Now I have 1 2 3 on nes and super adventure island on snes om only missing Super adventure island 2, I'm on the look out. But I know that one will not be easy.
Any way I also need to find Lolo 2 because I have 1 and 3 at the moment.

Streets of Rage 4 is amazing. I love the new characters. I am stuck on the level you were showing. That's the lift going up to the Boss I am having problems with. 15 hours play time on this as well. if I die, I restart, hate using the extra life's after, it's a cheat really

I really enjoy streets 4, I own the anniversary edition for switch and the standard on xbox (both physical). I like the audio option to set it to retro is a nice touch.
Was also definitely happy to finally get CupHead physically for the Switch. Like you sad a very difficult game but also very addictive and with the added DLC and the price of $30 right now it's definitely a must have before it's too late kind of deal.

48:29 Metal Slug 3 was Nazca's final Metal Slug game, and it certainly shows. It was their swan song. They put absolutely everything into their final MS game. I'm glad I was able to buy the USA AES version back when it cake out. It definitely felt like the best for the amount of content you get.. All of the branching levels, all of the SLUG vehicles (Metal, Camel, Ostrich, Drill, Elephant, etc...) and you get the soldiers, mummies, aliens, and the best thing yet, ZOMBIES! Being able to do a screen clearing move by vomiting blood, that teachings from one side to the other, was epic! Then you get the horizontal and vehicle shooter levels, and even the marine slug levels which are a cool tribute to Nazca (Irem)'s pre-Metal Slug shooter, In The Hunt. I also love the Xbox port of Metal Slug 3, with the mini games. Fat Island, and UFO.
Great video Reggie! I have Silverload for PC and it's supposed to be pretty bad, but I've never played it. :)

Looney Tunes Racing, man that's a game I haven't heard in a long time, remember renting it from Blockbuster and had a blast playing it, I would love it if WB got off their butts and ported more of their back catalog of Video Games, cause man they got a lot, at least good ones that is.

Omg watching again later I notice you talking about Fishing Resort! If you wanna catch all the fish in that game you'll probably end up watching my videos. I'm the only one on youtube with walkthroughs of how to catch all the fish! Some are really tough to catch. Also Reggie did you know that game was made by the guy who made Sonic?

I think that Thunder Strike 2 game is a sequel to the one on the Sega CD.
yes Thunderstrike series started on the Amiga with just Thunderstrike... Then Mega CD/Sega CD got a sequel called AH3 Thunderstrike... Thunderstrike 2 is the follow up to that Mega CD game (and so is technically the 3rd in the series). There was also a final sequel (so 3rd or 4th) on PS2 called Thunderstrike: Operation Phoenix.
Realy do need to get shadows of the damned while it's still cheap. It might be increasing in the US but can still be picked up for £12 UK. I think it's the last suda 51 game on 360 I have yet to own. Fortunately as a general rule 360 games here seem to be comparatively lower than their ps3 counterparts, except for tornado outbreak. I'm glad I picked that up for peanuts when I first heard about it. So many great games for that generation of consoles' and still so stupidly cheap. Nows the time to buy though before gen x hits their midlife crisis and starts paying over the odds for their childhood lol

I played and finished Raymond's story for Star Ocean 6 and loved it. It was legitimately a fun game and a contender for GOTY for me.

The Wii fishing game looks interesting. Dreamcast had two fishing games on it that were a blast!

You would think that a game being delisted is support for sticking with physical which actually it’s probably the opposite -because if you had bought it digitally before it was delisted 99% of the time you’re still able to play the game digitally for instance outrun online arcade on the 360 is delisted, but I’m able to play that I just wish I would’ve bought that snoopy airplane game on the 360 before it got Delisted.

Fragrant Story could be considered a scam because the game lasts less than 10 minutes. There are *some* additional things you can do but there's not much to it. I preordered the game not realizing it was like a $1 eShop game, but it was primarily because it came with a soundtrack CD (which I am a sucker for). Ultimately, I wouldn't consider it a scam since I paid money for a product, and I received said product. Sure, I was disappointed when I saw credits roll after 5 minutes but that's more on me for falling for the FOMO of what *might* be the last 3DS game and not looking into the actual game before spending money.

Some of my pickups have been...
- Atari 50th Anniversary (Great compilation of Atari classics and really well done.)
- Arcade 1Up Atari Couchcade. This is cool as it has 10 Atari arcade games, including my three favourites of Centipede, Tempest and Crystal Castles. Whats fab is the device has a trackball and spinner, so you are able to play it as it was played in the arcade. The controller is wireless as well which is really nice.
- I picked up a chipped Xbox 360 (Aurora). This is great as although I own the games, they are all in storage right now. This however lets me digitally store them and easily access the games. The Xbox 360 is great as it does a lot of the original xbox titles as well (like Project Gotham 2, Futurama etc) and the XBLA library has tons of great titles such as Quarrel and Outrun 2 arcade etc.

Warning for anyone who wants to pick up the TMNT The Cowabunnga Collection, there is a severe button input delay. If they'd fixed that issue, the game would've been perfect! Stick with Shredder's Revenge if you're looking for a TMNT beat 'em up. Merry X-Mas Reggie!
One thing that I was disappointed with shredders revenge was shredder, was not a playable character
34:38 that Tiny Toons PS1 game I remember owning and playing that, such a disappointment for me, although I was a kid at the time since I last played it so there's that, still I bought it expecting something like those awesome PS1 Looney Tunes games and boy did I get that wrong.
The Mario vs Donkey Kong game on gba is a sequel to donkey kong 94 on the gameboy. The later games in the series actually become a spin-off of Mario & Wario on super famicom, which is basically lemmings.

I want to add dragon quest 8. I would like to get all the dragon quest games for 3DS but if it's just one then it's just one. It's my fault for passing it by and saying I'll buy it another day I'll buy it another day... And now that's not possible. Thankfully though I still haven't played radian historia but I picked it up one day years ago collector's edition unbeknownst to me as to what the game was but it looked cool sounded cool and it was a collector's edition. Sadly the box has been abused but it's still in okay condition. I'll definitely take you up on your information about picking up the DLC for it. As well as seeing the comments here and some of the suggestions some of the people have made. Here's my suggestions that have been suggestions I've heard from others In regards to the shop closing so credits to whoever throughout the RUclips videos I've been watching over the what past many months.
Bugs versus tanks, drancia saga, 3DS classics kid Icarus, tumble Pop for Game boy which might probably come to the switch now..., Kirby's block Ball for the Game boy again might come to the switch now, shantae for Game boy color you never know might come to the switch now, Ash 3DS, air race Zeno and speed, The lost town the dust, dark void Zero, valet parking 1989 seriously this is fun, bird and beans, aura Aura climber, brunch panic really this is actually a fun game, mystical Ninja on Game boy, sky piece I think Reggie recommended this a while back, gurumin3d, kingdom's item shop, Sakura samurai, undead bowling, kersploosh, zombie Slayer d i o x, undead nightmare storm, Ninja Battle heroes, choose a denpamen game I went with three, iron Fall invasion, photo dojo, Steamworld Tower defense, crimson shroud, And I'm sure there's many more I'm missing and I'll also throw a shout out to Dead heat breakers and the first Dylan's western world because supposedly the second one is more of the same but dead heat is a change for the series. A lot of people say attack of the Friday monsters I agree with that one, gotcha racing, I vouch for tank troopers It's fun to play while you're walking around outside Just don't do it in traffic 🤣

How do you play PAL ps1 games these days? I have a goldfinger adapter that allows me to play imports and have had that thing since the 90's. Lets you do the disc swap trick with a spring in the lid to keep the open button down. But didnt' PAL games run at a different HZ or soemthing? I still play my stuff on CRT's for anything ps2 and older

If literary finished Astronite 10min ago. It’s a really solid metroidvania and if it wasn’t for one glaring issue I’ve would have absolutely loved it…but as it is it’s way, WAY harder that it needs to be. I seems they’ve fallen in the indie game trap making the game hard for the sake of being hard, and I really think that the difficulty is going to hurt the game in the long run. So I’ve you either are a platforming guru or doesn’t mind getting crazy frustrated stay clear of this one 😅

I love Metroidvania games so I picked up Astronite a week or so ago and I really dislike it. It didn't have a fun challenge like Hollow Knight, Grime, etc. It was just frustrating.
I don't think a generic cart racer would play the William Tell Overturn.

I see you Silver load such a great game until the last 15 2p minutes, if you don't have enough ammo you wasted 4 to 5 hours of your life in load time.
