I think it is really lovely the way the words meant so much to you. BTS has very deep and meaningful lyrics. They write 95% of their own music so the words are a reflection of the way they think and the experiences they have. They are a remarkable group of incredibly talented young men. They are currently serving their mandatory military service in South Korea (two have actually finished and the other 5 will be out in June of this year). They will be back together making wonderful music and content again. One other thing, these are 7 of the nicest, kindest, most humble human beings you will ever find. This is why their fanbase is the largest and most faithful in the world.
Hi, I enjoyed your reaction. Your smile says it all. Very happy you liked it and got the message they tried to provide. The one you asked about next to the "portal" is JK, the youngest in the group. The rappers are RM, J-Hope (w/snickers), and Suga (in the fire) - The other vocalist are Jimin, Jin and V. Jimin was the one trapped in the water. They came out in 2013 so there are lots of songs to check out, no two alike. BTS will always surprise you. You might also like "Life Goes On", "Pied Pipper", "Dimple", "Blood Sweat and Tears". I could go on but do not want to overwhelm you. Happy Holidays and have a great day.💜
Give yourself time to watch various BTS videos and get to know them. There is so much content. They have regular mvs, dance practice videos which don’t have English subs, live performance videos, explanation videos that explain what songs mean (Korean cultural references, literary or psychological references), lyric videos, and more. Their songs usually have a deeper meaning and are often dedicated to their fans, called ARMY, even if they sound like love songs. People will throw lots of song suggestions at you so expect that. They do many genres so not all pop, rap, or ballads. They’ve been together since around 2010 but debuted in 2013. They are super talented, humble, and sweet and we adore them. Look for videos with English subtitles and don’t use the auto-translation feature. It’s always way off. Better to do without than auto- translations. Enjoy your journey!
Ok during the pause the one with the flower petals is JungKook, JK, the youngest. BTS actually has a storyline that runs through many of their albums, with its own lore like why the candy bars, it’s call the BU for Bangtan Universe. That is a whole other rabbit hole beyond just learning about them and their music😉
Here is a go to guide for the members, it’s a little long but Army, our fandom name, has watched it many times and we’re always here for every second of it. It’s up to date through 2022 but it’s really good for more in depth on each member
Hi, good reaction, ty. I am glad u watched the MV. Love this song. So catchy. There is an explanation vid by DKDKTV i think. Pls check it out. Also, there is dance choreo if u want to just check that on ur own or with us. We love long vids. They hide a lot in the MV. Watching the dance practice u see the bigger picture. In Film Out (another song) they do have stuff blowing up too because BTS likes to reuse lyrics from old songs and choreo and anything else they like. So Film Out actually echo's Fake Love. =0] Did u spot Save Me written behind V? That is a call back to their song by the same name. Not sure if u heard it already. There is an MV for it. If u flip Save Me u get I'm Fine another of their songs. There is a live where they perform both back to back. Hope u check it out. So good. This MV has a few layers for the fans. It is part of their hidden BU storyline. So the snickers chocolate have meaning. It's about realizing that this relationship isn't real and it won't work because it's not based on the real you. It's based on this persona that is a lie. Jungkook picking up the sand and it turns into phantom petals is a representation of the line in the song "I grew a flower that can't bloom in a dream that won't come true" Some of the other aspects like the snickers bars and the toys in the room with J-Hope and fire in the room with Suga are all points that goes back to the BU or Bangtan Universe. BTS has a fictional story line that connects a lot of their videos together and Fake Love has some aspects of that in it. In the intro of BTS '"Fake Love", Jungkook sings: "Love you so bad, love you so bad / Mold a pretty lie for you ... I grew a flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true ". These sad lyrics were not just flowery words strung together, as the band intended to tell a story of heartbreak that extended from their previous work. In the first verse, BTS sings: "I changed everything, just for you / But I don't know me, Who are you?". The theme of disconnected lovers continues throughout the song. RM brought this up when speaking to Billboard around the time of the song's release. "We're trying to say that if you, in love, when you're not true to yourself, the love won't last", he told. "Because love is complex and we always have the dark sides and the sad sides."
