Happened upon this. Never heard of her. Wow is all i can say. So many technical hurdles, balance in voicing, exceptional lyric quality, played as a set..... and from memory. Just exceptional! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Also thank you for posting this. I think you played with Bach here.

This is one of my favourite numbers of the WTC I, but the prelude confronts one with some quite difficult artistic choices for the voices of the the left hand which requires the interpreter to have an over-all view of the prelude and fugue, which itself is a great landscape, and varies very much according to interpretative choices. Masterfully done here, interpretation as poetry.
But the tripod could have been placed such that we could get a better look at the keyboard and see less of the black leather seat.

So y'all are free to record your rigid attempts to hamstring the modern piano trying to make it imitate those 300 yrs old keyboard dinosaurs to your hearts content. But stop baying at this gorgeous musician like Jackals of mediocrity

@@Pablo-gl9djNo. It’s only that Bach is not supposed to be played this way; if you intent to play it on a modern clavier, then it must adhere to what Bach wrote in a sense other that merely the notes.
I think, it’s just your opinion.
Con tanto pedal consigue casi el sonido original de aquellos instrumentos que no se dan en los más modernos . Pienso que es muy fiel su interpretación .
@@ChamMansour if you play on a modern instrument you kind of by definition "don't adhere" to what Bach intended. Either the pianist will fail to sounds like a harsichord or clavichord, or they use the piano to its full extent. To me, the choice is very clear.
You also don't know how Bach himself would use our modern instrument, soooo....
Es un buen ejercicio poder tocar como un robot, pero para mi gusto la interpretacion es muy "cuadrada", parece la reproducción de una partitura de Finale.
