Every time Val wonders if someone will be neighborly, if he misunderstood the two shirtless guys around a human bonfire are actually good people or about crime scenes, I remind myself he only made it past Day 0 because he wasn't in town that day. Yes, in literally any other story, Officer Val would have been one of thousands of nameless cops munched on by zombies within hours of the zompoc officially starting
This is good. Non-stop action is interesting, but this has more of a real feel. Anyone in the military will tell you that a lot of preparation is required for successful missions. 13:37:26

I Had A Marine Sniper Tell me A One Shot One Kill Sniper. Is Almost Completely impossible to Catch. The Sniper Who Shoots Twice is The Easiest To catch. So Shot Then Wait. A day if Nessassry.
Imagine if this guy didnt clean everything up. The story would only be 45 minutes long. I feel like the writer forgot this character was a cop and thinks he was a housekeeper. The entire story is just him cleaning up.
