Fabulous demo - it's rare to see such a clear and indepth explanation of every. single. feature of a more esoteric pedal like Fabrikat. Makes the wait for mine all the longer.
The fabrikat along with the Mutable instruments Clouds firmware [ which can be found in at least 3 guitar friendly pedals] are by far the best granular delays/ looper out there.
@AaronRusch it's amazing...you can find the firmware in maneco labs small nimbus, poly beebo [ my favorite] and cloudy by tomkat[ I haven't tried this one]
@@iosifkalpaktsoglou2045 I didn't know about any of these pedals, thank you so much for the info- looks like my Christmas list is getting some new additions :)
@AaronRusch I loved my maneco which I sold as in the poly beebo you can use all 6 modes simultaneously [ imagine being able to use all of fabrikat s modes simultaneously] and as many times as you want...it's stereo in and out as well so you can make 2 different patches and send them to two amps[ I have added an extra output on my guitar which comes handy in situations like that]
@@AaronRusch Yes , I’m awaiting a Tensor today....should be a more organic compliment to the the industrial strange beauty of Fabrikat .1nce again thanks...
Good timing - just got mine today, looking forward to reviewing it with your great videos. Looks like it covers just about everything any other pedal out there does today. Any close comparisons? I have Count to Five also. thanks.
I hope you love it, I'm really impressed with how many different sounds I can get out of the Fabrikat. Honestly, this is the only "Granular Synth" pedal I've ever owned, so I'm not sure if it is similar to other pedals in that world... but I do see some crossover with the Count to Five as far as grabbing a sample and reversing it, warping it, etc. But with 16 algorithms... I still feel like I have months of playing around and tweaking to do before I really understand everything it can do. Thanks again for watching the video, I really appreciate it!
Thanks for making these! A bit of an odd question, but could you use this like an electroharmonix freeze if you kept the mix knob all the way down? I mean could i get freeze and frabrikat double duty out of one pedal?
Thanks for watching! Hmm, I'll have to try that out... I'll post here if I can replicate that function (might be a few days, as I'm away from my stufio for a bit).

Thank you!! I hope you don't have to wait much longer
that my friend was the best and most beautiful intro to that pedal ! loving it!
Thanks so much! :)
Great demo, now I understand the Fabrikat better! Keep up the good work.

Hi Michael, I really appreciate the kind words, and thank you for watching the video!
Very informative... this video is thee best description of the Loop knob, Infinity Toggle and the Left Footswitch. Thank you for this series!
Glad it was helpful!

I'd never heard of the Mutable Instruments Clouds before, I'll have to look into that, thanks!!!

@@pongtrometer you'll have a lot of fun! The Fabrikat and Tensor are also my granular pedals of choice, although they're not on the same board atm
@@pongtrometer Running that Tensor into the Fabrikat is going to sound amazing!
Proud owner / user of a Fabrikat myself - looking forward to the rest of your demo!
It's such a great pedal. Thank you for watching! I'm going to post the next demo on Thursday, luckily it won't be a 30 minute video this time :)
Hello, hope you're OK 👌...l really enjoyed watching your video content.

Do you have any opinion or a possible demo later on in another pedal by pladask called baklengs ? Like you clarity .Regards
Hi there! In fact, I've been planning a Baklengs demo, and think it will drop in early February :)
great job ! thanks !!!
Thank you too!
wouldnt it be nice to find a way to save all your changes? what do you do? take a pic on your phone? no presets
I agree! I actually keep a little notebook with me and I write down my favorite settings.

@@AaronRusch Awesome, thank you!
If I wanted to be cynical, I'd say that I could achieve similar effects by playing my guitar while my neighbor was mowing his lawn.
Hehe, that is completely true! Although this is a very musical lawn mower :)
