@@BRANDON-IRON009 Surprisingly I haven't had any issues with the infotainment in the past couple of weeks I've owned it. My 2021 did have some occasional glitches, however. Hoping they've been fixed by now, but we'll see how it goes long term.
100k for a Durango (700hp or not) is WILD
Its GUARANTEED to break down and soon...all those plastic parts. I know someone on a second trans at 65 or 70.000 miles...NO WAY

a lot of people who buy dodge performance cars compeletly ignore the break in period warning and are gas happy as soon as they get in because thats what they've seen done, or dont follow the maintaince window properly. those two things are what cause a lot of damage in these cars. @@carmellatte71
Just a note on the weight. Official curb weight is 5575lbs.. Motor trends test unit was 5512lbs, C&D was 5534lbs and my own personal one is 5580lbs. The 5710 number was a mistake by Dodge which is now corrected on the Dodge website. 🍻
Simple solution for a passenger complaining about that glorious exhaust : pullover and let them get out 🤣

My mom grabbed her 2021 for $81K and absolutely LOVES hers! Because she was able to do a first order, she did not pay over MSRP. So she’s not too upset that Dodge made more. For me, the exhaust note at highway speeds is just too much. Then again, I drive a Lexus so of course I’d say that. 😂 Thank you for using the same song for your audio tests, it really helps to compare the sound systems here. E.g. this engine is a masterpiece my goodness that sounds so good and puts the power so well
I met a guy at a gas station with one, and we were chatting, he floored it at night on the way out on a rural road.... I think my brain rattled inside my skull. It was the loudest car I have ever heard. I think he might have added tuning or something to make it louder but it was freaking insane.

3 rows, great looking, 710hp amazing sounding V8 plus AWD, nice leather and alcantara, good suspension, lots of space, tows a lot, intuitive infotainment, great tech, and people think $90k-$100k is too much….
and carbon fiber, I'm willing to bet if dodge was a oversea's brand people wouldnt have anything to say about it costing 100k, but since its a domestic brand and domestic's are "cheap" and "slow" all hell breaks loose.

I always wanted a fast wagon. Missed out on the CTS-V with a stick, Merc and Audi have always been out of reach financially and availability wise. We don’t get the M3 touring. This is the next best thing…

OMG 12 MPG IN THE CITY AND 17 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY XD Have fun going to the gas station many times every day ~~ Also I just got 3.5 seconds 0-60 mph when you did the straight road launch, just insane. The engine and the ZF 8-speed automatic is a perfect match. And the V8 is the best sounding V8 ever, no one does V8s quite like Dodge does, and the sound is all displacement, no fake sounds, just pure engine noise.

Better interior than Challenger and Charger. Its actually funny they upgraded the interior for this and not those 2.
Yep 100k or more could let justify…. That’s why that’s why four years ago I got my 2020 charger WB Hellkitty and haven’t looked back. Plenty of room, plenty of power, blends in well with all the other chargers so I don’t stand out, and super car acceleration all for only 70k. Well worth the money. No complaints till this day just all smiles and people giving thumbs up on that whine.

Great launch. Puts down the power do well like another veiwer said. But I don't think it's worth more than 80. Outside doesn't stand out enough from other Durango's. Physical buttons are still cool but it's no reason the infotainment sysyem should be that slow lol

The only real reason im keeping my 21 vs trading on a 24, my 21 does not beep the horn three times when i close the door while its running and im outside of it. That bs started in 2022, my charger does it
It’s crazy to me how they haven’t really updated the design too crazy much since 2010 it’s a 14-year-old design with minor refreshes over the years…
They want 100K for this? You have to be joking. The interior looks dated already, the exterior is ugly, and it's a Dodge so you know the reliability is going to be questionable. Sure it's fast, but that's not enough to justify the price tag in my opinion.
Yeah, sadly, people will pay it.. they will sell out. So, why shouldn’t they as a business interested in profit charge it? They can only produce a limited quantity of these massive-engine vehicles, after all, so trading off margin for volume isn’t really applicable.
More generally though, I agree. I don’t think it’s WORTH 100k.
It's an emotional purchase, not a rational one. It's the last of its kind: a V8, supercharged American SUV that sounds like Heaven and has plenty of room for the family.
It's overpriced, yes, but it's either now or never to get one... and Dodge knows this.

Weak effort for 6 figures but do love the shifting paddles. Definitely tow and go is a solid effort for a gas hoggie so be interesting to see how GMC and Ford respond as I don't know of any other competing with this.

This thing just looks so awesome, when you think American cars, they’re fast but they can’t go around corners. But this Durango which is essentially a minivan. Can corner like an M5. It’s insane. Dodge does an amazing job with their performance cars.

@@itsjamilagain try going on a backroad in a Charger or Challenger, then you'll know, those things go around corners like cinderblocks, they go fast in a straight line but they do not carve canyons, this Durango has a track tuned suspension, AWD, you can use that 710hp on actual roads and not having to worry about spinning the tires and losing control.

I work for a dodge dealer as a driver, and have driven the SRT Durango quite a few times on trips, but have yet to see or drive a hellcat. Over 700 hp is insane
