I had the opportunity to hear this song live too, it was, for me, the most memorable moment of Hizaki's solo concert. This song is very touching, and he performed it with such emotion, it was absolutely incredible. I really, really want to be able to hear it live again.
That repeating main guitar melody at 0:25 really does have quite a heroic quality to it. I can picture a guy kneeling, grasping his sword and rising to his feet either proudly raising his sword to the heavens and then marching out to forfill a quest like saving a princess and/or slaying a dragon/evil wizard or something like that lol. "I swear on my own blood, I will slay the dragon and return the flame of life and the princess!" While it may not be the heavy as fuck track like Darkness or Sacred Alter that you could tear the place apart with a circle pit but it would definitely be a song I would like to see played live if they ever came to Glasgow.
