You make me laugh when you said, "it was the right way up which is a relief." Love the card and the ideas. Thank you for making my day start off on a high note
That’s wonderful 😊😊😊
I love your multi media cards. You're SO good at it. The cards always turn out so pretty. That tiny card is adorable! Love it.
Thank you so much!😊😊😊
Another lovely card! Watching you put together all these wonderful mixed media cards inspired me to try the process. A few additional stamps, some tissue and/or napkins, and the results weren't half bad 🙂 Thank you for your videos and inspiration.
Wonderful!😊🤣🤣
Love your mixed media style cards
Thank you 😊😊😊
Very pretty Chris. Can’t wait to see what you learn this weekend, have fun!
Thanks 😊
I hope you're having a wonderful crafting weekend. I can hardly wait to see what you bring back for us! You'll know it's me because I'll be the one jumping up and down, excitedly asking, "What did you bring us? What did you bring us?"!!!! 😊
Well it's not going to be a card, but there may be some techniques!😊😊😊
I do love watching your videos, you're just so normal and show any mistakes in your process.
This card is another beaut, the stamping on tissue is such a great idea and it all comes together beautifully.
Please have a fabulous weekend and tell us all about it next week xxx
Thanks so much… I’ll certainly let you know all about it !😊😊😊
Have a crafty weekend. Card is very cute.
Thanks so much!
I do enjoy hearing your little laugh when you’re having fun! I could watch you do these all day, so enjoyable 💕. Hope you have a wonderful time at your craft retreat, I’d love to do something like that but I never hear of such things nearby. Love the card, beautiful as always…
Thank you so much Teresa😊😊😊
Love It🩶🤍🧡Have A Fabulous Crafting Weekend 🩷💛💚

Your card is so pretty. Vintage meets soft and subtle and the results are splendid! Love it! Having my coffee while watching you and can’t think of a better way to start my day!❤☕️🥰
Sounds awesome!😊
Another great card! Have a fabulous weekend!
Thanks so much!
This postal theme works brilliantly and I love the background smooshing with the added tissue paper stamped pieces Chrissie, and the delicate grey and pink, and also the drama and dimension of the added glitter paste through the stencil and what a great idea the sweet little envelope is with the die cut flowers on the piece of stamped card within it..a great finishing touch together with the lovely pinked coloured 'Hello'..a card full of interest. I hope you have a lovely time at the Indigoblu workshop. x
I’m really looking forward to a fun couple of days !
Soft, sweet and full of interest!
Thank you😊😊😊
Enjoy your weekend Christine. Love this finished card. Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome!😊😊😊
You’re going to have a great weekend! I’m a little jealous but I’m sure you will come back with more great ideas! Love your mixed media cards!
I am not only a little jealous - to be honest - but happy Christine will show us lots of new things to learn. 😊
I hope so too!
Wonderful!
I really, really like this card. The envelope is an especially clever touch. As usual, your instincts are better than mine since I would have edged the sentiment with a darker ink. It would have been too much.
Thank you so much!😊
Thank you so much for the mixed media cards Christine. I have rice paper that I was worried about using. Now they've all gone away!! You certainly make mixed media look so easy.
It’s such fun to build up the elements for this type of card !😊😊😊
Hope you have a great "dirty" weekend
Love the card the choice of colours is so nice thank you
You are so welcome😊

Brilliant as always.

Lovely
😊😊😊
Christine you are the most creative person of all the card designers that I watch.
That is very kind, thank you 😊
Very nice card. TFS🙏🌸
Thanks so much!😊
As always, an inspiring video. I'm becoming more and more comfortable with mixed media. Close to us is a stamp fair called "Stempelmekka" (stamp mecca) very soon. Can't wait to look for Mixed Media stamps, (more) Gummiapan dies etc.
Got my Mylar foils today! Hurrah!
Sounds like you are in for some fun! Enjoy!
I do like a Mixed Media card which still retains some principles of design. This one ticks all the boxes for me Chris. Have a wonderful retreat, you deserve some time off to recharge and just have fun. TFS❣
Thanks so much Helen, the retreat is this weekend then the following weekend we will be off on a river cruise for a couple of weeks starting in Budapest! No card making then !😊
@@Chrissieannie A River cruise is always a good idea. I'd be inclined to do a similar thing if it didn't take a 22 hour flight to reach Europe. Relax, explore, rest, rinse, repeat!
@@helenwallace4870 the flight between Europe and Oz is a real endurance test isn't it Helen.
Enjoy indigo blue weekend .
Yes, thank you
I envy you your getaway. Hero Arts is having a weekend event near me in October but It's a bit pricey even though I can drive to it and it's on our anniversary weekend. Although my husband has gone golfing, etc. on our anniversary weekends somehow he doesn't think it's a great idea if I do it. They're also having part of their event at their warehouse which you must find your own transportation to. I would be driving my own car BUT I've driven that area often and it's a nightmare with traffic EVERY DAY except maybe Sunday mornings so I don't think I'll be going. Love this mixed media card. The tattered rose and pumice stone work very well together. I have a ton of Tim Holtz blank collage rolls I bought when he said they'd be discontinued so I can make my own. I think I have one of his printed holiday ones but, as you said, they are pricey. The little envelope and card are adorable and a lovely addition to this piece. Okay, enough rambling. I'll miss seeing new videos this weekend but have a grand time. I know you will.
I have a two week holiday coming up soon too, so I hope people won't get withdrawal symptoms🤣🤣🤣 maybe a chance to revisit some older videos !😊
This is💌Fab Ms. Chrissie. Have a great time with Indigo Blue & Please Be Safe, Cheerio👋🏼!!!
Thank you, I will
I wonder if the other crafter used a tissue paper with a glossy/plastic type of backing? That might be why hers didn’t go through the paper.
Love this design! 🙂❤️
I think you may be right, but what I use looks ok to me even if it does bleed through to the back 🤣
@@ChrissieannieI love your card and I’m going to try the tissue paper techniques. You are so fun to watch…it really feels like you are chatting with friends.🙂
@@gerrieriihimaki6446 that's just what I'm am doing!😊
Not sure what is up with You Tube but it is taking forever to buffer every few minutes. Have a wonderful time this weekend and I'll see you next week. Going to skip to the end to see how it turns out, I really love it.
It took me hours to upload too!😕
@@Chrissieannie That is so frustrating!!!! Please don't give up on us though.
🙋♀️💖
😊😊
My sister lives in Maidstone, I’ll tell her you are going for a dirty weekend! Lovely card btw. I’m still a bit wary of multi media I don’t seem to have your touch at all.
Until I went on the last weekend with IndigoBlu, I was terrified, but it’s actually great fun !
@@Chrissieannie seems to be, I just can’t seem to get satisfactory results. I’ll keep trying.
@@Sioban1945 you'll sort it!
Was lou collins doing 2nd Gen stamping? I think she does that a lot. The ink isn't as juicy and doesn't soak through.
No she was stamping on tissue over cardstock and it didn’t show through! I’ll have to call her and ask what she did!😊
@@Chrissieannie Please do let us know, when you find out. 😊😊
QUESTION, CHRISSY … If you were to stamp multiple images, as you did in a vid I watched you do the other day, would it pass through onto card with a little less color intensity?? (( I VERY much liked that hodge-podge of stampings on tissue, but, I thought at the time, it was a bit more color-intense than I would want to go with. The lattice applied over the stampings seemed to remedy that though. Thanks for giving me another possibility for the less-than-ideal stamps I own. Some refuse to give crisp, clean images! That technique doesn’t require perfection!!))
You could simply use a less intensely coloured ink to stamp your tissue or background. It’s purely a matter of personal preference.
@@Chrissieannie That might do the trick, but I’ve only invested in the Memento Dye Dew Drops, and their 24 colors aren’t very pale. I did pick up a few of the MyFavoriteThings Hybrid Inks, but as I intended to use them for sentiments, those, too, are the more intense colors. Oh, well … Your other videos have given me lots of other options to pursue. I most definitely thank you for that! Be well, Girl!
lovely card but Phil needs to pipe down a bit when you're recording lol :)
🤣🤣🤣
😊😊😊
QUESTION, CHRISSY … Thank you for the info that “Slap It On” dries MATTE. I wonder if it’s a much different kind of glue than Aileen’s Matte Glues? Or Mod Podge Matte? Anyone reading this have experience with either of these, please??
I think that Mod Podge matt world be very similar!
@@Chrissieannie Thanks for your input, Chrissy!
Maybe she used wet strength tissue?
I’ll have to ask her, I just use stuff from packaging. It works well and the fact that the ink goes through is inconsequential. 😊
