    If there is an equivalent of touch on the sax, as per the piano, then Johnny Hodges has it aplenty. Just wonderful.

      The piano isn’t really a good instrument to use in comparison though.

      he’s playing a buescher 400 top hat & cane in this performance but he was also known to play a post-war buescher big b too!
