- Yep, our new house flooded. Every house we have ever lived in we have had a flood. Some floods are worse than others (flashflood, groundwater etc...).But, every flood is stressful but this one wasn't too bad. Luckily our house is not ruined. It could have been devasting if it was groundwater.
We also got to see our friends the Shumway Show and The LeRoy's for a little social distance parking lot lunch. It was good to see our friends again!

I was against front loaders until I got a Bosch font loader. So much better then a top loader. You can still add things once the cycle starts. I love it

I am new to your videos. I’ve been binge watching them. We had a flood in my house, my sweet daughter turned her shower into a tub and overflowed it. Then we were just about to move our laundry upstairs, when my crap front loader overflowed in my whole Downstairs, so that cured me to keep our laundry downstairs. Threw it out and bought an old school top loader with agitator.

My mom loves the older washing machines too!! We got the front loaders for a couple of months and we had to switch back to the older washing machines. The newer ones don’t wash as good

I agree with you on the washer! I got a top loader with no agitators because I wanted more space and hate it!
Also check the age for drivers because many states a permitted driver has to drive with someone 21 or older. We found that out the hard way......
If u can’t find a wash like ur old one non water saving. Than I recommend Maytag brand. They sell top loader washers and front load. My use little water but I have never had any issues any different from my old washer. U may try different detergent. I Switch to baking soda detergent. U can buy it in the store. I know the powder does great. I’ve got the liquid version and have not try it yet but I have full confidence it will be great. Baking powder detergent has not failed me yet and I believe does my clothes cleaner. I also believe Maytag washers are great.

They still do make them with the loader on top but you can get it with the thing in the middle or not.

I absolutely agree with betsy! I passionately H.A.T.E. my new washing machine. There are only two water levels which if you don’t set it to max, the clothes barely get wet. The “soak” cycle really means enough water to barely wet the clothes, and don’t even get me started on the quality of the wash. I waste more time, Water, detergent, fabric softener and electricity trying to get HALF of the quality my old washer did, and mine is a top loader (GARBAGE!!)
