You got me Dan. With the title and release date I thought this was going to be the update we all have been waiting on. Great job on the editing putting all the clips in there.
I'm all for lean, it's just good engineering and there is much greater freedom the less it costs to fly. How free do you really feel if it costs 1000$ an hour to fly. So how about mounting the seat and engine on a longer boom tube instead of the complex truss structure. Low carbon fiber simple wing without struts. Wheels on the wings. Bit smaller prop or even much smaller prop without gearbox. That (c)leans up the design a lot too. Sitting on the boom and wing is more direct to the control surfaces as well. The boom could hold extra fuel. You could easily hide 100 liters from an FAA inspector :)

Are they delivering yet? Looking for something to replace my aging Quicksilver - for flying around the farm.
What is the tail boom made of? Looks like a length of ABS plastic but that's awfully heavy. Aluminum painted black? Pretty cool little airplane.
