Oh man, Kyle, I cant believe how gorgeous that knife is. wow !!! Next level perfection buddy. Skills have gone off the map. Truly next level . You found your calling my friend 👍🙏
Thank you Chris!!
The green handle on that buck 110 looks fantastic with the grinding job on the lock bar & blade. Everyone can see your pride in perfect craftsmanship, it's a joy to see the work you do
Man these buck restorations are just the best Videos
Very pretty, the color reminds me of the 1950's aesthetic. I preferred the satin to the highly polished metal, but both are lovely.
BUCK 110 just as the jeep wrangler, gave talent people lots room to put more beauty on the classic.
Your title is right on. Georgeous!
Wow, I absolutely love it, that is one gorgeous knife! I love my Buck 110 but now you have got me hankering for something more, stunning work! - and I love the satin finish.
👍 Beautifully finished knife. I cannot decide on the brass finish, but am leaning toward the satin.
Same, but I’d still have to go with a polished buck folder, would just seem wrong to do anything else
Man that is beautiful
Thanks Will!
Chuck Buck would be proud.
Beautiful job Kyle.
This made me want a Buck 110 lol. Good work.
I took a look at your knives and I have to say you do some really beautiful work and your prices are amazing. Now I know what i'll be looking at for Christmas.
Awesome! Thank you!
Beautiful work, very satisfying to watch. Thanks!
The " Knife Gods " smile down upon you, Kyle. Absolutely stunning!
The handle looks like you’re looking into a different world .
A green world.
Very nice, I'm with ya on the satin finish
Nice work. Can see you love your process. Beautiful knife. Toss up between glitz and the satin finish. Cheers .
I was lucky enough to pick up a buck 110 this weekend that's got a filed spine on the lock bar and blade, that's also a switch blade. I didn't know they made them like that, but it's a really cool knife!
Nice! The auto-openers are illegal here in Canada... sadly.. but they're so cool!
@@kyle_noseworthy they just made them legal in Michigan a few years ago, so I lucked into mine at a really good price! I have a standard 110 like you had in the video too. Lovely iconic tools!
Hey Kyle buddy! As a fisherman here in newfoundland along with the rest of the fisherman on this channel. You should design us a knife specifically for rope and twine for something to have as a razor shape knife on our hip. I been looking everywhere for something similar and i know your a real professional when it comes to knifes 😁😁😁hahah
I appreciate that you use proper PPE. Very nice detailing on that knife aswell 👏
I cant afford not to with the amount of time I spend working in the shop. The effects over time just aren't worth it, especially with how comfortable modern ppe is! Once you get used to it, it's far more comfortable to have it on.
I do not collect knifes or have any remotely overlapping skills or hobbys but your videos are weirdly satisfying, borderline mesmerizing.
Great work thank you for sharing your knowledge I’m a beginner and you helped me immensely thank you
That was therapeudic!
Great Job my friend.
Kyle you do good work, you don't have to tell everyone how good you are!
Beautiful
Let me add a challenge for your next video!! How about a Buck 110 With shaved back bolster and slimmed down front bolsters...with REAL file work. Maybe stag or bone scales!!??? Let's see what you got...looking forward to see your next Buck video!!!
Quality over quantity any day mate 👌🏻
Pretty wild looking? I have 2 of those from my dad. Still like new. Thanks
Stunning!!
Love what you did to that Buck knife. 👍
BRILLIANT !!!
Damn i love classic buck 110 That is one beautiful knife
Magnificent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
super clean
WOW! Buck 110 is a classic, you make it awesome.
Take care Kyle
Thanks Clinton! It's a pretty iconic knife
Really nice work Kyle, those scales are awesome and polished brass is always a safe bet!
Would love to see you do a 110 auto
Very nice
Beautiful! I have 3 or 4 Buck 110s. I think I'm liking that satin finish on the brass bolsters.
Amazing job brother! Well Done! :)
Perfect
Very nice!!!
That is some beautiful vine work there. You are very talented indeed. 👌
Awesome craftsman ship, great tip with the filler. Satin always a good choice.
Outstanding Craftmanship, As Always, Thanks For That Tip ! Thanks Kyle ! ATB T God Bless
Man I love these customization vids
Houra Houra for the chickens 🐔
this is one very under rated channel ive just stumbled across, lovely workmanship you have there absolutely love it.
I appreciate that friend. How do we get it rated properly?! That's the question!
Thanks for putting the awesome content out👍
agreed with satin finish
awesome videos love from alberta
Absolutely amazing work !
Diggin’ that green🤙
Pretty cool eh?!
That is some creative work thanks for sharing
this is just too clean, i would send you mine and have similar work but in red😳
All good problems. I like your attitude, so I subscribed:)
I'm so happy for you and your family your knives are awesome all the best
Thank you, Marc!
Hi Kyle!! What a gorgeous Buck knife !! I have one of the 110 hunters and I love it . Great video as always Kyle! Take care and stay safe my friend!!
Thanks Troy! The 110 is such a classic. Very capable knife
You sure turned that Buck around. I like the Matt finish , however I would like to see the polished look
Thanks Cory! I still cant decide
@@kyle_noseworthy you will just have to do a second one 😄
I have a 61 year old 112 I'd love to have you restore. It sits I'm a box to this date because its had a rough life haha
Beauty
I really like your videos. Can you do something on sharpening a claw or hawk bill blade. Like you wound find on a Karambit. Thanks.
Enjoying your channel what’s a good metal to practice on. Thanks
I had one of those in the 90’s when I was a kid. Can’t remember how I got it, probably swapped for £5 deal of pot lol
very niiiice ! 👍
Nice work, I am not a fan of wood scales...clean work you do! You call it file work, lol...but all you use is machinery to add decoration...filework is a skill and will be applied by hand with specialized metal files...in this case....diamond files because of hardened steel....not an easy job but way more detailed decorations able to produce!! Nice video!!
🔥🔥🔥
Dang
Love the buck videos. The buck 110 is my favorite. Your craftsmanship is the best I’ve ever seen
I love polished brass but in this case it detracts from that beautiful burl pattern so def satin.
i think both finishes look great but im a brushed finish guy.
beautiful 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍i love it
I love your channel Kyle. I am not in this space at all. My carry/utility folder is still the Gerber 400 I picked up in Indiana in mid 90s. Cheers
Thanks for watching even though this is not your area, John! That's a long time to carry a single knife!!
Awesome work that s really beautiful. What kind of wood is that, I have never seen anything like it before?
Yak yak yak yak yak.
wow Kyle all I have to say Is man you are a legand! when it comes to blades you are the best! iv watched loads of knife sharpening and know one comes close to your standard of work how do I get you to do my knife please please let me know I'm 44 and have had my knife since I was 15 which was made in the Portsmouth dock yard England a very hard blade indeed I so want this knife to be perfect please help. Bradley in England I can send photos of said knife if you need. many thanks
Thanks so much, Bradley. I really appreciate the kind words and compliments. If you need any work done, you can email me at weiderfan.business@gmail.com !
What is the handle made from?
I have a buck knife I’m not sure it’s a 110 or not . looks like it .
but it has finger grips.
I wonder if you could add finger grips to a regular 110 buck
What kind of belt sander is that with the different wheel sizes?!
Beautiful! Love the finish on the brass. Will it tarnish?
What kind of epoxy do you use to keep the scales on?
Very beautiful outcome on that knife!!... I have a question for you; I've seen many videos from several people who 'make'/modify knives but I've NEVER seen anyone replace the blade on Buck 110/112, is that even possible???
It sure is! The pivot pin is faintly visible and can be driven out to replace a blade
@@kyle_noseworthy Good to know! I have an old 110 that I've had for almost 50yrs old that has a lot of sentimental value to me. It's taken a lot of HARD use over the years and has never let me down... I'm considering having it customized but it would be pointless to do so unless I can get a new blade as I want to gift it to one of my grand kids and I want to give him something special instead of some 'janky' old knife.... Thank you for the quick reply!!
I only have one question... Is the knife for sale? ;)
What’s the cost of a project like this?
How do I contact you about rescaling and file work on a automatic buck 110 with a s30v blade.
Hi Kyle, How pleased were you with the fit of the scales?
I have just one question for you... Is that knife for sale? ;)
💪😊
Kyle please email with price to make me a buck 110 like the one in this video Thank you
Hey mate, new to the channel. Do you have a website or anything. Would love to purchase a 110 like this from you if it’s something you do. Thanks
Thanks! Email for buck 110 orders! kyle@npi-inc.ca
@@kyle_noseworthy hey mate I sent an email to the one on your website. Let me know if you have received it. Thanks
Definitely satin finish. It will also hide any nicks you may get over the years
15:25 Seems you glued the blade on the liners. How did you get the Epoxy out there? Or did you simply throw the whole knife into the scrap bin?
I get that you've shown sharpening and cleaning up blades in a lot of videos so I think it's fine to not show the whole process some of the time, but come on! How can you not show off the knife at the very end with the blade all finished?!? The handle looks so great, but seeing it next to the scuffed up blade just feels a little unsatisfying.
Y’know, I’m not a knife guy at all. Not even a little bit. They are tools, I like to keep ‘em sharp and working, that’s it.
I am, however, a rescue the old RV and make something useful from it kind of guy. I enjoyed that content, so I subscribed, now I find out about every knife video, which I could care less about. Don’t know where this is going… has happened many times, enjoy an off-subject series from a channel dedicated to content not of interest. Guess I’ll have to be more careful about subscribing.
Based on the blade stampings, that (was) one of the very first Buck 110's ever made (1961-1967). You do great work, but I question you and your customer's decision to do that to a collector's piece. He could have just gone to the store and bought a new one if he wanted that kind of work done to a knife and sold THAT one to a collector to pay for the work you did. What a shame....
Believe in Jesus Christ and the blood He shed for you and be saved from hell before it’s eternally too late if you haven’t already. May God bless
NOPE. While that's nice, it pales compared to my Buck 110 with extensive filework and stag scales. KME mirror polished razor sharp edge. Interesting video though.
Absolutely ruined this knife
Really nice love your videos. FYI Tony is a snake oil sales man #fakeguru.
haha You think so? I'm not convinced. I can't speak to his stuff in in the last 5 years or so, but I used to listen to a lost of his 'talks' from years ago and I found a ton of value in most of them. There were many pragmatic strategies that I could easily implement immediately. Very valuable to me.
@@kyle_noseworthy Respect if helped you that's what's important.
