If I had to choose, I would choose the 12 Pro Max. It has the triple camera setup and premium build. The 14 Plus and 12PM have the same display brightness and hertz. The notch May be smaller but honestly I wouldn’t care since they don’t use the extra space and now since iOS 16, you can see your battery percentage.
The answer is simple actually, if you want a 3 camera device and a pro model, 12 pro max. If the case type is liked, Pro Max, but if an up-to-date model is desired, 14 Plus due to the advantage of the A15 chip. However, if anyone is using 12 pro max and is thinking of upgrading to 14 Plus, I would advise against doing so. The upgrade model from this device must be 14 pro minimum.

Looks like I could have gone with the 14 plus and enjoyed it more.😮I find I don’t need the 3 cameras. The phone is very heavy because of the cameras and and I care more about the battery life. iPhone 14 pro max is made with stainless steel band as well as 12 pro max. Plus the battery and the camera are both larger going from 12 pro max to 14 p.m. Camera certainly makes it heavy, but the non pro lines will feel lighter with their aluminum frame and minus the huge sensor. They still got the nice battery size increase.
I say more, i upgraded 12 pro max to 14 pro max one week ago, and there is no much difference, overall 14 pro max is maybe 20-30% better. 120hz is nice but it’s not super clean, i think we need something like 240hz or even more. If someone of you have 12 pro max you can easly stay on this phone for next 2 years. Differences are not that big as you think!

The 12 pro max is 700$ in sweden with 80% battery. If you change it its 850$ Id prefer to pay a little more and get the 14 plus (new) However when the 12 pro max is 400$ im interested.

I was using old PLUS / MAX and PRO MAX models ONLY because of the bigger screen. Since I have had 5/6/8 iphones and I know exactly that I need the biggest possible screen. I just can`t find it comfortable to use regular screen size of the iphone. So after apple decided to release PLUS models again - I know I`ll stick with it no matter what. Extra 250-300$ can be spend on something else 🙂

I think what most people don’t realise is that the 14 and 14 Plus are the future of all iPhones, being completely redesigned on the inside. 14pros use the old design. Compare the rear glass replacement costs…. I have a 14 Plus, upgraded from an 8, no regrets at all.
I have loved my 12pro for quite some time. It gets laggy at times, battery is bad. Like now, I’m already at 7% at noon and it charged all night! And the phone gets very hot. I think it’s time to move to 14 plus.
I really wanted the 14PM after seeing the presentation. I played w/ it at the store & it felt similar to my 12PM running beta software. I kept it. I did upgrade my S7 to the AWU
If you're willing to spend $900+ on an iPhone 14 Plus, then I would suggest just getting the 13 Pro Max which you'd get around the same rate and you'd get the 120 Hz ProMotion along with the same A15 chipset.
If you look closely the notch on the 14 plus is taller, and on the 12 pm is smaller but weider, i think the notch on the 12 pm is the better one coz it doesnt get on the screen that much

@@nickackermanchannel Mostly the screen/size and batterylife. And lightweight compared to the size and a great camera. The speakers are really great compared to my old iphone 11pro. And everything is so fast.
I too updated from iphone 12 to 14 plus and love it. The 14 pro max way too heavy for extended use. 14 plus gr8 battery life and nice screen. I have never used a iphone with 120 hz so it does not matter to me.
i care more about the telephoto lens than the supposed better quality. i think most people just assume the new camera is "higher quality" without actually comparing. in addition, Apple has been going overboard with the auto-processing of photos in recent years. so the new phone might actually be worse. I guess they're taking the samsung route lol.
If you can get a pro for almost half the price used it's hard to recommend a plus model of a downgrade on the camera end but if your just in it for a big phone that's fast I would just recommend the 12 pro max that's cheaper
I have both the iPhone 14 pro and the iPhone 14plus I love both but I had to get a plus because I got big fingers. Was so close to walking outmatch the 15pro max but traded in my 11 pro for the plus. Absolutely no regrets!
If I get to choose between these two. I would consider iP12PM because it has the telephoto zoom. I don't care if I have to lose the Cinematic and Action mode.
Cinematic mode have one issue. The bokeh not really looks like bokeh and sometimes the cut seen not perfect. And for action mode, ip12 pro max can achieve it too. Just buy gimbal and put it.
Unless you don’t care about pro features get the iPhone 14 plus, but if you are a pro user get the 14 pro instead. they are both similar to each other except for the extra camera.

Nice better buy comparison. Had the iPhone 14 Plus had a better Refresh Rate then definitely would chosen this ahead of iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Traded in my 12 pro max for the 14 plus. Ended up paying around $400 for the plus.
