Hi and thanks for watching my video. There are no Costco or Best Buys but we have Walmart, Canadian Tire and The Source among many other stores. For yourself and anyone else who may be wondering, Stephenville is restricted to what I'll call unlicensed or registered ( not sure the exact term) drone operators like myself due to the close proximity to the airport. So I won't be able to get any drone videos of Stephenville NL, unfortunately.

Colloquially known as "Da Xing" with the residents Endearingly dubbed "Xingers" Stephenville Crossing has always been there, and how many times did we take that route in to the 'Ville on the way in. Looking at the place now, it has grown a fair bit since the last I was there. Do you know if it is mostly all permenant residents, or has "cabin creep" gone that far out too? I was a tad upset and unhappy with the developments in toward Serpentine Lake along the old Logger School Roads. I don't curse whoever's got a spot of land bought and a nice cozy little cabit retreat to sneak off to whenever life gives a minute's respite. I do find that it does encroach on the land that my family has been hunting, fishing, trapping, gathering and living in and on and with coming up on four generations (Qualipu) as well as appointing each successive generation as unofficial stewards of the land, keeping a quiet eye on the area and its flora, fauna, removing refuse and litter, planting new evergreen seedlings on the areas that Bowater/Krueger clear cut (despite many opinions and rumours to the contrary, those areas were the main areas for the Hemlock Looper infestation, most of the trees were already dead or beyond recovery). My Pop was livid that the pulp and paper came in and "crucified the place", as a man in his late 70's having lived off that land his entire life, he was inconsolable. The saddest part of that is he was not able to make a trip in to see for himself how quickly it recovered. We planted hundreds if not thousands of seedlings in there, as a school and with the sea cadet corps, or even just by myself, the supplier was always more than happy to bring them in for me.
I just realized what a tangent I went on. Well, I hope you enjoy my anecdote!
