It's amazing how the lagging and skipping never happens when Paramount plus is showing commercials.

You forgot to add in the awful net code, the app doesn't work half the time. Your paying for a subscription that literally doesn't work 80% of the time.

Commercials play perfect,but unless it's on a console it will blue ring regardless of internet speed

That is due to streaming rights. The ad-free plan has to have ads on on-demand content, and won't get rid of ads on Live TV, you can't get around those ads.

When I use it on my PS4, it constantly freezes and glitches. On the main screen, it loads at a snail's pace and lagged. It only took me 3 days to cancel it due to how frustrating it is to use.

For some reason, when I got the free trial, it never stopped and I never got charged! I barley ever use it though, only things I use it for are nostalgic Nickelodeon shows.

#1 reason for me? I got it today... there's no "video quality" button if you're watching through a browser on PC. Supposedly, if your internet is fast enough it'll buffer it's way to 1080p... but nope! I can watch youtube, youtube tv, and netflix all at once in HD but paramount+ on it's own? Won't buffer out of 280p.

me trouble to sign in bc when everytime I sign in and I wait and nothing happened just signed again
i can't even re-watch a episode of dexter new blood. Paramount saves the timeline at the end of a episode and then skips to the next episode b4 i can pause it and go back to the start. Bravo Paramount!

I was thinking of subscribing to paramount plus because there is a few good movies that I like. But I heard so many complains about this and I don’t like watching sports and and many of the shows and movies don’t catch my attention and I already have 5 streaming services. Those few paramount movies I rather just rent them

The ads are in full color and clarity, but when I try to stream Nickelodeon shows, there appears to be a white veil over the screen, all the color became lighter, it sucks

There's nothing to watch. I agree with your review. I felt and saw the same. I signed up for 12 months, so I'll be with it for a while. Good thing I also have Amazon Prime, otherwise I will have nothing to watch.

Worst streaming app I've ever used by far. Not only the fact that it's clunky, slow, and lags. It never remembers your spot if you don't finish an episode or movie. Hit the continue watching icon and it just starts at the very beginning. Then you forward to scan through the episode, and it moves at a snails pace. Maximum if 3x speed forwarding which is something like 7-10 second jumps. If you're near the end of something, it takes you 15 minutes just to forward to the spot. And then many times after waiting 15 minutes to forward, I finally get there and hit play and it fails to load. A loading error pops up. This among many other issues. Save yourself the headache and stay away from the paramour app.
I got a free 3 month trial from a mcdonalds promotion and I still feel ripped off

I agree, after a little more research I think I want the Paramount network. Paramount +, to me is useless. The way they are screwing us around with Yellowstone kind of sucks. And the ads, very frustrating.

Paramount plus is a scam. They advertise a 1-week free trial. When I subscribed to the free trial, I was immediately charged for a full year subscription with no refund options. I see this as false advertising bait tactic.
Paramount plus need to add a watchlist

What about the nickelodeon side do they show full seasons and episodes and do they still show ads for them to
@King Myer, The Nickelodeon content is hit or miss on Paramount +. It depends on the show you are looking for. If you don't have an active subscription for Paramount+, or any other service for that matter, you might want to try the website (they also have a free app) called Just Watch. You can search for shows and find which services offer that content and which seasons are on there. www.justwatch.com/

The volume of content is decent, it's comparable to Disney+, but the frequent buffering because they don't allow you to set a video quality/resolution on the browser version is why I'm cancelling. Also, having 'My List' be four rows down, when it ought to be at the very least on the top row, preferably have it own menu tab. I've gone to the effort to curate the content I'm most interested in watching, and then they try burying it.
This video is 3 years old at the time of writing this nd paramount plus still hasn’t resolved these issues
And they have got rid OF A TON of programs
Now it just won’t load any episodes even though I have a 4 bar connection

i new Paramount Plus would be bad when I saw the first trailer.
I used to sub to their add-free version but that isn’t why I discontinued my subscription. My reason is the same as a lot of subscribers who were shocked when Paramount Plus dropped the Australian Survivor series without warning. They lured people in with the promise of being able to watch all the seasons but without warning canceled them after just 4 weeks. Needless to say people are fuming. This is typical of them because it happened yet another time when it was simply the CBS app. They dropped the ability to stream previous episodes of several shows without any warning or any excuse.
Paramount+ in the US needs some work, Canadian version is more bare bones ass and needs even MORE work.

Sorry, I'm not sure about those specific seasons of SWAT, but I do know that they do not have them all.

Glitches in commercial free subscription. It still gives the message, "Your video will begin after this message" then it goes to the content. Why have that if there is no "message"?

I click on movie it would start with advertisement when its gets to 5 seconds left it freezes up and wont play and thats on any movie

I am keeping it because it has all my Nickelodeon shows from the 90s if you don't like ads get a ad free subscription to it I signed up for Nickelodeon shows and it has everything from the 90s that I like and they now include my list feature again stop complaining about things you cannot control
Honestly first day trying out (uk) doesn't work on the app tv/phone/even just in a none app state it just doesn't work. It's not worth it. Also half the content is on amazon lol.

Can't watch it on TV and you need to use some type of chrome cast device for the app to work and even then you can't use it as the streaming software they use is useless, they give you an option to download series/movies, yet you can't mirror any of the movies on your TV via your android phone. Just a waste of time! It's basically not ready for the market in its current state. Rushed product I'd say.
My only problem is that other channels other than CBS channels have audio issue which become muted but still play smoothly. Why? Because I payed a year subscription and they are not getting any funds for the rest of the year?

Paramount + and ESPN + both suck really bad. Paramount charged my card 1 more time after i cancelled it.
ESPN + made me think i was gonna be able to watch a chargers game. Then when I ordered the service That game was unavailable. Alot if these streaming apps claim you will be able to watch more NFL games . These claims are usually unfounded as most games wont be available in your area or just wont be available at all. False advertising to get customers. Its not just Paramount that is ripping off customers either. Alot of these streaming apps have very shady billing practices, which why in my opinion to never let the get your debit card info to them. I literally had to close my credit card number to stop them from charging me after i quit there service. False advertising and shady billing practices are enough to stop me from using most of the streaming apps. Hulu and Netflix are the only two ill use from now on. I even had problems with RUclips TV when i had it. which is really sad as i am a youtube junkie.

I say the same thing... Vpns are destroying content... It's allowing people to watch free content without purchasing it... So people are complaining that the service is offering limited content.... That's because people are stealing it instead of paying for it... How can they make money if you're getting it free online... Starting next year streaming services are adding VPN blockers...

Prices have went up and a lot of stores won't even stay open past 8:00 anymore..... And with so many scammers using vpns to block their location.... I noticed the same problem when it changed from CBS All Access but I immediately called (when their customer service was good) and they changed it for me by making me cancel the subscription and reapplying to P+ so I can keep my grandfathered in price @ $5.99. Now their customer service is non existent because they’re afraid to answer the phone 📞 due to constant complaints.

I only use Paramount+ just for Bay’s Transformers. Everything else is meh.

Large white block for skip recap ...... Large white block for skip introduction if you actually want to watch these it is horrid to have there in your face the whole time. Furthermore if you have an oled tv, you should not keep a bright white block in the same place everytime. On Amazon each of these is in a dark box with yellow lettering ..... and it disappears after 10 seconds, but you can still press the enter button to skip later on if you want to.
In addition when watching content and trying to go forward or backward is very hit or miss and you have to try multiple times to get close to where you want to go.
I tried to contact P+ thinking there would be a department that cares about how they come across to their viewing audience. There is absolutely no way to get your feedback to them.
I am stuck with them because of all the great Star Trek shows.

I think people are too quick to judge Paramount Plus.... You have to remember Paramount plus is a brand streaming service... Meaning 90% of their content is Viacom CBS owned content.... Second CBS is a sports operating channel they actually don't own any sports content... And sports content is expensive... And yes I do agree Paramount plus does need to update some of their features... But the new update is coming July 4th .... And with that new update new movies are coming... The epix library is coming which will include MGM Lionsgate Sony movies... And with Disney owning ESPN they own 60% of sports content... With Amazon having unlimited cash flow they're stepping into the sports arena... Nobody complained about Disney plus having no new originals.... I think people should at least give Paramountplus a year to prove their self....

@@CordCuttersLI people forget the Netflix days are over.... Disney AT&t Comcast... Are keeping their content for their self... And now Discovery plus is not sharing their content... So that leaves Netflix Paramount epix AMC.... Because Starz has Lionsgate and Sony... So I think within the next 5 years all streaming services are going to be brand streaming services... And Netflix has already said within the next 5 years Netflix is going to be an original streaming service... They're only going to carry a limited content from other companies...
@@juniorjr.427 Really? If so, that sucks. But I think that's already happening with the newer streaming services removing most or all of their shows from Netflix. Having had Netflix and Hulu for years now, as well as HBO MAX due to it being an excellent Hulu add on, I'd have to say Netflix is the one I use the least. Honestly if this trend keeps happening, along with Netflix's seemingly annual price hikes, I can see myself canceling it and replacing it with Paramount Plus, Peacock or something else in the future.

Why do you need a VPN on your TV?? I use a VPN on my Fire Cube.... comes up just fine... it just keeps buffering... It does the same even when I do your suggestions with turning off the VPN... clearing the data... clearing the cache... logging back in... How many people can simultaneously log into this app... with the same account??
