    I love to use the blanket stitch, but struggle to start new thread that continues evenly. Your method solves that problem! I’m so glad I caught this video. Thank you 🥰

    I ❤ your tutorial. I'm new to handwork myself. I bought a rotary cutter blade that make the holes in your fabric, like you place the dots. Happy Sewing and thank you.

    Love the banket stitch. I always think I need to use bias tape and end up crazy, corners never turn out 😵‍💫This is so nice. Ditching the bias tape 😊 Thank you

    Why are the seams pressed open? Don’t they close again when blanket is turned out?

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  Год назад +2

      Pressing seams flat makes it a lot easier to center the seam on the right side. If you don’t press first, you spend a lot of time trying to roll the sides to put the seam in the middle and you end up with little folds. Pressing seams open is a good practice to get into for better sewing results.
