I love to use the blanket stitch, but struggle to start new thread that continues evenly. Your method solves that problem! I’m so glad I caught this video. Thank you 🥰
I ❤ your tutorial. I'm new to handwork myself. I bought a rotary cutter blade that make the holes in your fabric, like you place the dots. Happy Sewing and thank you.

So awesome. I never done the blanket stitch because it looked confusing. You showed it ana explained it so perfectly and showed the knots that now, I feel I might be able to do that ! Thank you
Love the banket stitch. I always think I need to use bias tape and end up crazy, corners never turn out 😵💫This is so nice. Ditching the bias tape 😊 Thank you

I’ve done the blanket stitch for over 40 years and mine has never looked this good. Each start and stop always messed up the pattern. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Blessings.
You video was great.. so glad I found it.. love how did & taught blanket stitch... what size of yarn did you use.. 2 or 3..... got a surprise ...a great granddaughter .. .. I want use your blanket stitch.. I have my material.... Thank you. Gale...
Two babies arriving soon! I'm going to be a great aunt! Wondering what else you can use for the blanket stitch instead of buying a ball of yarn of which not much is needed. Thank you! Also love satin binding video :)
Pressing seams flat makes it a lot easier to center the seam on the right side. If you don’t press first, you spend a lot of time trying to roll the sides to put the seam in the middle and you end up with little folds. Pressing seams open is a good practice to get into for better sewing results.

Why are the seams pressed open? Don’t they close again when blanket is turned out?
