Storm Collectibles - Kenshiro (Fist of the Northstar) - 1/6 Scale(sort of) Quick Look

Wa-ta-ta-ta-taaaaaaaaaaa! You're already open!
Today we are Kraken into one of my all time favorite anime heroes, the legend himself, Kenshiroooooooooooo
I was a huge fan of Fist of the Northstar growing up, and I am so very happy we finally get him in 1/6 scale glory. While Medicom did make a real action hero of him years ago, they are always a bit pricey so I never pulled the trigger.
This one is also far from cheap($280), but its about half the cost of the RAH, and looks way better in my opinion.
My only real complaint is his size. Sure I wish he was a bit more posable, but I can live with that.
His height on the other hand... well he's definitely a bit too tall, and it's noticeable when you have him posed up next to other anime characters.
Not a deal breaker, but something to be mindful of.
Also of note, a lot of shops are starting to sell out. I got mine from bigbadtoystore, and while they do still have a few available, I won't be shocked if it becomes a resale market only figure soon.

I actually think its fitting Ken is 13”. FotNS characters are made to be bigger than life. Kenshiro easily towers over regular people. I was afraid they’d make him short like 11” but I might now want to pick him up.

I have this figure its so like the anime. The jacket is really hard to zip up. I had to remove the arms to do it. He is very tall but then like youngemu3949 said he is very tall in the manga/anime. I'm also all about Shin! I think he's not that popular because he dies early on but he's the one who gave ken the scars and looks so cool. I wish they didn't kill him off. I hope they do a Shin figure. I'm getting Raoh. He's so huge I'll have to put him in a squatting pose to fit him in my shelf.

I usually don't like suggesting people buy a figure in this price range, but hopefully this will help a bit 😀
If you collect sixth scale, he's pretty awesome. A bit too big, but not really a deal breaker by any means. And its much cheaper than hunting down the old medicom.
If youre just looking for an awesome fist of the Northstar figure... you maaaaaay wanna look into others.
I'd imagine you could get a cool statue, or even 2 1/12 scale figures for a similar price.
Just something to consider if you're on the fence :)
