He’s right, at the end of every game in the last 15 games last season it was so hectic and mentally draining for the players as it showed as they lost and drew games they shouldn’t have which lead to them losing the league. But this season they’re shutting teams down like should’ve last season so that’s what he’s saying

I was at the game; the brentford fans were chanting 'Your just a shit David Raya!" after his mistake, he was responding to them.
I wasn't at the game, watched only the last few minutes on mute, and I knew that Brentford fans were definitely singing that at some point during this game. How thick do you have to be to think he's doing that to get at anyone else.
Not only has Havertz scored more goals already this than in any of his Chelsea seasons, he’s been playing most of his games in midfield.

Agree that people find way to spin Arsenal negatively consistently but also agree with them when they say the Brentford game was massive. Arsenal aren’t going to spank every team by 5+ goals. The Brentford win was more significant, it reminded us and more importantly the players that they have fight to nick wins against difficult opponents, it was a valuable experience prior to facing city that sets them up better than walking over them 4-0.

Exactly. The physical qualities he has are arguably better than Raya, the only difference is the mental attributes (concentration etc.). He’s at minimum Europa league standard

Ramsdale made a bad mistake but it’s also a mistake any goalkeeper can make. It wasn’t entirely ridiculous but we have seen Ederson make even similar mistakes. It’s possible it’s football.

Not a mistake you make when you finally get to start and fumble your chance. No excuses and just not stable enough. in 11 games played, he conceded 12 and only had 3 clean sheets!, thats more than 1 goal a game, and dont give me the bs that the opponents were tough, he only faced liverpool once in the FA cup and man u once in EPL this season. Was the keeper against west ham when we lost 3-1 in EFL cup, the keeper that got us knocked out of FA cup 2-0, conceded against fulham, nottingham, brentford and man u in the premier league. Raya in 28 games conceded 23 goals with 12 clean sheets and raya had faced all of the big 6 this season including liverpool twice (except man u). It is a proven fact that Ramsdale is not as good as Raya.
For all those that are backing Ramsdale and saying Ramsdale can make epic saves while Raya cant.... Raya's positioning wouldnt even require him to make epic saves to begin with! That ivan toney strike? Ramsdale out of position, that save on the header against brentford? Raya would have collected the cross and that header wouldnt even happen.
If he really wanted his position back, then start acting like a first 11 keeper and stop fumbling his chances
To put things into perspective, Ramsdale concedes a goal every 80 min , while Raya concedes a goal every 109min. Even last season when arsenal is not in champions league - Ramsdale conceded 46 goals in 41 matches in 3720 minutes. Guess what Raya stats was last season with Brentford? conceded 47 goals in 39 matches with 3510 minutes. Raya be making brentford defense look like Arsenal or should i say Ramsdale be making Arsenal defence look like brentford? lol

I genuinely think Arsenal have a better chance to win this season, than they did last season.
Last season, it was their first title run in and they were so many points ahead for the whole season, you could see the pressure and the mistakes starting to creep in towards the run in. This season, it helps that
A) they’ve got the experience of last season raw in their stomach
B) it’s not two teams going blow for blow, they’ve got Liverpool and City going blow for blow and they can capitalise on slip ups…
C) they are the underdogs and I feel that is a much better position for them, than being front runners
They should let City & Liverpool take all the pressure and the emotion and just win game by game and if they stay close enough to the top, I genuinely think they can win the league.
It’s a scary thought but you don’t have the best defence and the best attack and NOT win the league, I can’t remember any teams not winning the title with form like that.

Ramsdale mistake was obviously unacceptable to make. But as an arsenal fan, whatever club he does too, you’ll realise how much you like him, his connection to the fans is perfect. I’ve always seen him step up in the massive games, Tottenham and Liverpool last season, he is definitely worthy of a very good team and I still think he’s probably one of the better keepers in the prem. talking about him very harshly. Also that ramsdale celebration he’s done quite often so I think it was just 1 last moment with the fans
all season it’s seemed like that LCM position has held them back a little but in recent months jorginhos been amazing cus he’s a smart box to box midfielder but he’s also good in that holding position dictating play so if they need a goal they can have him sit there dictating play then rice can go get in the box with his aerial presence.
Havertz as a forward and the minutes he's played he flaps when he shoots. If you don't play him anywhere near central he can be useful. His presence, his speed , he would do well at Dortmund ~ tell me I'm wrong?

Aaron Ramsdale is a terrific shot stopper. His problem is primarily mental. The problem is that the greatest keepers in the world are mentally strong.
I believe that he can develop into a world class shot stopper. But he has to figure out how to become mentally tough. 😊

I do think Raya is better than Ramsdale, however, I don’t think Ramsdale put himself in the position he’s in. He’s been terrific for Arsenal, and I think it’s difficult mentally to be dropped to number 2 after a two great seasons. Not only that, keepers cop it the most from rival fans, it’s got be taxing listening to rival fans try to break you down for 45 minutes while your team dominates possession. He’s still 25 years old, still has space to grow. I can see him going to an upper mid table team and the getting a move to a big European side.

Ramsdale is a top keeper. This mistake says nothing about him. He is not a Arsenal keeper only because Raya is a much better ball distributer .. which is crucial for the way Arteta want to play the game.

I see your points on ramsdale but i think its an exaggeration to say he would play for forrest or leeds next season.. he’s better than that. I get he is not top premier league level. But he could be in Serie A or Bundesliga for example. Say if Maignan was to leave Milan, Rambo would imo be a good option

I think Raya has been awesome for us, and Ramsdale will probably be sold in summer, but at the beginning of the season Raya made a similar mistake, but was bailed out. They are being ridiculously harsh on someone who hasn't been in the squad all season.

Ramsdale is one of those players that will only ever be over or underrated. His charisma forced his fans to adore him and his rivals to despise him.
If a defender concedes an own goal and then goes up the other end at a corner and scores the winner people would say he redeemed himself, a keeper making two massive saves that stop you going behind and allow your team to win that game is different?

i don’t think it’s fair to say arsenal are winning by last minute winners, their g/d has increased the most since the new year of the 3 teams. Also as a liverpool fan we’ve had few convincing wins since the turn of the year a lot of our games have been 1 goal leads or a third in the last 5 minutes, then look at city struggling a little in both games against brentford and then the chelsea game. It’s easy to look at last weekend and say arsenal are the team clutching at wins but over the season it’s really not been that way

The mistake you guys are making is that you Believe Arteta dropped him because he is not good enough but that's not the reason for replacing him with Raya. Ramsdale is better than Raya as a goalkeeper but Raya is the profile Arteta want. Those saves Ramsdale made that day, Raya would have conceded at least one of them. With Raya those chance might not be available for Brentford

Over the past 2 seasons 21/22-22/23, when they finished 5th and 2nd, when he rates pope, who got relegated then finish 4th behind Arsenal, and Pickford highest who’s been involved in relegation battles each of the past 3 seasons…..also Ramsdale is 5 years younger than both Pickford and pope doing just as good of a job.

I really really hope VAR/ officials don't decide this again. MC won the title in 21/22 because Tierney made wrong calls on the Rodri handball and not sending Kane off v Liverpool. Liverpool have been denied two pens against these two teams, and there won't be a worse decision than the Diaz disallowed goal at Spurs. I fancy Arsenal to win it having seen them and MC at Anfield. Arsenal were far more impressive. MC were fortune to draw with Chelsea at home as well. Something I noticed yesterday at Anfield was how tired the MC players looked, they were really struggling second half. Liverpool have some tricky away games at Everton, MU, West Ham and Fulham, they have poor records at three of those grounds, so my money is on Arsenal.

He’s not going Forest or any mid/bottom side PL club cause Arsenal are going to want to demand 35-40m & none of those teams would fork that for a GK right now. He’ll probably go aboard. & yes he’s worth that. He was the most expensive GK a year ago today (70m) according CIES Football Observatory. His value would not have gone down that much after this. We paid about 28m for him so, he’s not worth less than what we paid & we’re not selling him for what we paid.
