It is seriously just their greed showing. They were caught manipulating their rates and decide to screw players even more, especially Reboot. Seriously hate these game directors.
@@Mckhus They dont have to report rates if it can be bought with in game currency as far as i know. Also on reg you can buy mesos, this whole thing is just a way to make reboot useless and keep doing what they have been with cube rates
@@Mckhus Because by switching to meso, they take away the pressure that they’re already under in regards to revealing the actual probability roll for desired stats when using cubes, which is obviously manipulated so as to further the predatory gambling business model. This manipulation was exposed in KMS, many players suspect that you have a higher % chance of rolling INT on say, a sword, and a much lower % chance of rolling STR. Now they have no reason to reveal this data.. to our detriment.
@@Mckhuskms allows rwt as long as you buy another currency to then exchange said currency to meso. They limited how much meso you can gain per day from grinding/bossing. So it hard stops you from progressing unless you buy mesos. They’re getting rid of cubes to mask the fact that they were still manipulating their rates after their first scandal. Also even in kms people were playing reboot more and more… meaning less people playing in the actual server buying cubes with cash. So now they gutted reboot so people play more regular server and buy meso now.
I have never been a MapleStory doomsayer. The 6th job sol erda cap was the closest I've gotten to worrying that the game is ruined. If this change goes through, I genuinely believe it will singlehandedly end MapleStory overnight, at least in the west.
The sol erda cap was nothing, most people still don't meet the previous intended cap per day. The real problem with the sol erda system was always the fragments, not even the sol erda energy which is plentiful. This meso nerf to reboot will be the biggest nerf reboot will ever see considering 6x meso has been the biggest incentive to playing reboot.
@@anonymousl5150 bro the previous cap was 400 erda energy/day, so that with the 600 from dailies you'd be able to hit a whole sol erda every day. I hit that much erda *doing my dailies.* It was, in fact, that bad.
@@TeeQueueSA It doesn't matter because everyone even just doing dailies has a shit ton of sol erda left over while being capped by fragments. In addition 12 guaranteed fragments for 15 min of work was a huge gain over kms.
the problem is, nexon has had their hands on the plug for GMS for years, as soon as it stops being profitable in the slightest they'll kill it because all they care about is KMS. For a company that's so openly xenophobic i'm actually surprised they've kept GMS going as long as they have
I'd love to sit in on one of these board meetings, for any company that actively screws it's consumer base, just to see what logical pathing gives way to these kinds of decisions... Unless internal staff is afraid to push back and criticize the higher ups, I just can't make sense of it... It actually blows my mind.
I mean, I'd kill to be a fly on the wall in the Nexon NA offices right about now; Imagine the adrenaline rush when you walk into the office that morning and realizing that Nexon Korea just announced changes that'd decimate your main userbase in your region hahah
FYI the seniority power gap in Korea is one of the largest in the world. The employees who would actually play and enjoy this game are likely young adults, and the old farts at the top are just telling them to find the best way to fatten their pockets without getting caught. I don't imagine any of the workers want to step on toes to stand up for players who won't be paying their rent when they're fired, especially when it's already so difficult to get a well paying job in Korea.
On your "unless" point, it's Korea, one of the most hierarchical countries in the world, so yes, no employee will ever challenge a high-up's decision. This trait is followed by Japan and China, arguably.
I’ve been saying this for well over a decade. I grew up in a “business” family, so I’m usually spot on when it comes to deriving motives when businesses or people make changes or decisions but with nexon, I’m perplexed everytime. I see no benefit to this. I know most players won’t delve this deep because whatever I get it but I’m a numbers person. If you look at analytical data over the last 2-3 years for nexon, these decisions don’t make sense. My best bet is that the Maplestory department is already hurting and this is a “betting on red” situation. One thing I can assure everyone here, they know this will piss almost all their players off, they know it hurts the players and they know it’s “bad” for the players. It’s very clear that nexon does not have playerbase in mind when making decisions, aside from the fact of how to get the players to spend more. They don’t care for the players well-being, or fun or positive experiences. It’s archaic and make no mistake, they will eventually go under. Companies like nexon always go under.
the irony of there being an apology in their statement for taking advantage of them, then giving the middle finger to not just their entire KMS reboot population, but *every* other regions, too. Not surprising, they've been slowly making changes to make Reboot more and more like reg servers, if it isn't this it'll be something else later
If this happens, that's it for me. I will quit and never return. The 150 mil cap per day is not even one full wap right now. Having to train 6x as long for the same amount of meso is beyond insane. This is ridiculous.
Actually if it comes to gms then so does the 1x meso rate so a full wap would give you 4x less meso than before. So in the big picture you'd be grinding the same amount as usual, and then you'd have significantly less cube/starforce attempts due to higher prices/less meso income
Every time I become a active player, Nexon does something that makes me become a seasonal player or quit entirely. Like, with the Hyperion Update, I accomplished so many things I used to dream about: I'm almost LVL 260; I can finally solo Hard Magnus, Three Doors CRA, and LoMian; I even got a LoMian bossing mule I'm currently working on. I was bummed that they are nerfing Final Damage soon and now this?
I tried coming back in the new reboot server, played for about 2 weeks. Honestly, the game felt so soulless that I ended up quitting again. It seemed like really the only thing that mattered was doing the events because nothing else was even close to as efficient at getting stronger as the events. This seems like it's just another step in the direction of events being everything.
I remember when this was a game, you played events alongside your friends or by yourself, but once the event was over you went back to playing and exploring with friends. This is not a game anymore because a game at its core is to play, learn and socialize with others while playing said game.
Yeah man I tried to play again and the other players were not responsive and I just couldn’t figure out what to do No more KPQ and carnival PQ. Just seems about mobbing leveling and then doing your dailies. Kinda reminds me of like a freemium mobile game now instead of an MMO. Literally have more fun playing OSRS
@@NeighborhoodDada We aren’t missing out when players have to spend hours grinding on a map by themselves to accumulate 1% every day after they’ve burned billions of meso on cubes and starforcing once they finish daily bosses which only take up half an hour or so of their time. Grinding in a party with 1 - 5 others with a 50%+ - 80%+ experience bonus would hopefully bring back the actual element of a game to Maple. Too much time and even actual money goes into enhancing and upgrading equipment, I wonder how many are struggling with a gambling addiction as a result of what Maple’s become?
So far since I joined this game these are the things they've done or planned. Deleted Jett, switching BM to another class with no Hawk form flying fun or bear mode hammer which made the class fun, reboot exp nerfed, reboot meso cap, reboot final damage nerf, reboot boss crystal nerf, reboot meso amount nerf, kanna destroyed (likely forever), 6th job cap that they tried to add with paid booster and that's just off the top of my head. I can't even begin to imagine how much worse GMS Reboot will be by the end of this year. Endless possibilities.
Coppersan, it truely boggles my mind you've managed to stick around maplestory all these years. I don't play anymore, I haven't since not too long after big bang when the sense of community declined, and it's been a spiral downwards ever since. I hope you're doing well!
Welp, I love the game and I started playing at 15 almost 20 years ago and this finally might be my exiting point. If this is the future for GMS, it might be time to put my Maple Nostalgia Goggles away. It’s been a good run, but Nexon has definitely lost me with this one. For those who will still be around to enjoy it, please enjoy mapling and even some for me 😊
It's like they learned literally nothing after the Sol Erda situation. pre 6th job hype brought me back to the game after years of absence. I progressed more during the road to 6th job than i ever had before. Then they introduced the 5% damage requirement for carries. Fine, I guess. But then they did the sol erda nonsense. And now this. I've seen people dump inventories of endgame equips in kms in response to these changes, claiming to "liberate" themselves from the game. I honestly dont blame them. I dont understand what could drive them to make this choice. If it was about money, this certainly wouldnt be the way I'd go about it. And any time I hear a company use 'botting' or 'hackers' as a reason for anything, it usually is a poor excuse for something else. Take this with a grain of salt, since this is from Reddit, but I had read that this was basically a move they are making to avoid revealing cube rates. Some sort of legal loophole? I dont know the details of the situation regarding cubes, but I can see that being a possible theory, at the least. This is seriously gross, and if it comes to gms, I will be quitting, and likely for good. A lot of my guildies are saying the same thing.
It was exposed in KMS that the probability for rolling desired stats when cubing an item wasn’t in your favor, hence buying tens of thousands of cubes for each character, I heard this happened with a probability for obtaining puzzle pieces for an event and a player figured it out which led to a pathetic apology and correction from Nexon. Switching it to meso removes the demand to reveal the probability, if you want to roll only STR for a sword, expect it to be like 25% chance of you accomplishing that with few rolls, but you have 65% chance to roll desired INT stats on that very sword..
Losing 4x meso rate, getting daily meso cap, potential boss crystal removal/nerfs, and way higher cubing cost compared to current? If this hits GMS reboot I'm organizing a good bye party in Henesys then uninstalling

In reg servers you can get around 200-350m per hour with fz service, that means I can only grind about 1 hour per day to get mesos and I still only get 150m at level 260. That is 1 attempt per day to get your arcane items from 16 - 17 stars.....
@@AyoItsAntony NX to meso converter. this is why they're making meso farming dogshit and cubes for meso only. reboot will essentially become a regular server but without trading. and the reason is so that they can stay scummy as fuck and bypass laws requiring them to show honest cube rates
"We're sorry for lying to you about our greedy business practices. From now on, we vow to be much more open and transparent about our sheer, unbound avarice. Happy Mapling!"
Like I legitimately wonder what they expect to happen from this. Do they think people will be _more_ willing to spend money? Even from a "we only care about making money" standpoint this makes less than zero sense.
They aren’t factoring in how people legitimately want to spend their money, most people would want to spend as little as possible on an MMO and instead prioritize spending money on physical items that they can actually own.
As for that meso market conversion 100m wont even get you enough maple points to buy 1 red cube so this change makes that process cheaper. It makes bpots significantly cheaper and more feasible for the average person to use.
I don't think the changes are completely bad, I mean, I'm not a reboot player, so I cannot comment on the changes there, but I think is great that if these changes come to GMS, we will now be able to buy cubes (which are similar to black cubes) and Bpot cubes with mesos, this will make legendary items more attainable and easier (or at least more feasible) to progress to mid-end game. I don't farm a lot and when I do it, I normally don't get more than 80m/hr, I do feel sorry for the people that spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get % drop rate and meso drop rate, however, they didn't mention anything about Boss Crystals and then, that would be (hopefully) the main income for most maplers, which will yield at least some cubes weekly rather than a handful each month (because I only bought them using Rep points); and yeah, Coppersan mentioned Meso Market, but 10 Black cubes, right now (January 9), would cost 3b mesos ~, rather than 600m with the change, so, yeah, waaaaaaaaaaayyy better and cheaper. So, I'm looking forward to see how this progress, maybe, ultimately Regular and Reboot servers would become one again because now there would not be P2W in terms of Cubing.
1:36 That's exactly what it's starting to feel like. Reboot is just reg server with no trading. Which means it's simply worse all around because cosmetics are overpriced and the rng is terrible. Can't trade strong gear between alts, can't buy gear for main or alts, can't buy cosmetics that you want from market, etc. Reboot is just becoming all around worse than reg at this rate. So I have to gear up each and every one of my characters from the ground up, but I have no system helping me do so? When I could just play reg and have my cake and eat it too? It's just more annoying for the sake of being annoying. The increase to progression speed was the whole point of reboot. Can't trade, so here's the incentive to make up for it if you spend the time. They nerfed the exp incentive and the final damage incentive. Now they're working on removing the only incentives remaining. This seems really silly to adopt for Reboot GMS, but are they going to be able to maintain a separate system for cubing and meso rates considering the dev team resources to upkeep these systems would be little to nothing since it's not KMS? I feel like we're going to get it to maintain some form of parity.
Should've been that way day one. The whole idea when Reboot launched was everyone having to build themselves up instead of relying on the market, the extra rates were just a bonus to alleviate needing much higher range to kill the same mobs. Runescape's Ironman mode that is still hugely successful and doesn't baby its players like Reboot does, much the opposite
In my mind the only justification would be that they remove starforce destruction. Then it's possible these changes might average out, but I honestly doubt they would do that
Id 110% welcome the no boom change. I dont even farm for meso so idrc about the cap since i get all my meso from my boss mules that makes 15.5b a week. Even if they nerf the crystal like reg id still be okay with it.
This won't stop betting and would make the problem worst. What's stopping a bot farm trading mesos to another char and making a new account to keep doing it?
Even if this stays in KMS, I'm not sure I have it in me to continue playing for much longer. Then again, I say that all the time and yet here I am, still logging in every single day. But still, when every other month there's a new scandal, and I already don't enjoy the game that much to begin with, it's getting harder and harder to remember why I even play it in the first place.
well, if you take into account that they spent the last year completely changing the cubes of other regions, it feels like they knew this was coming and that's why they did it. And if you think about, the core problem was the rates manipulation of black cubes tier up, we kinda never had that here on gms since our rates where always different to korea.
so the "buy cubes through the maple point market" on reg point I wholey disagree with, especially on Scania. At least in gms, the meso to maple point conversion price is absolute garbage and isn't worth it whatsoever. 1 billion mesos (on Scania) doesn't even get you 10k maple points currently. Only 9.5, literally not even enough to buy a single cube pack. 1 billion mesos on reboot, which is far quicker to obtain, can buy nearly 50 bright/black cubes. Being able to buy cubes with mesos is nothing but a net positive for reg world players, it's the additional restrictions on top of all that which makes it suck.
If the end up jacking up the prices of cubes for reboot, you know what, whatever, that's fine, but a MESO CAP? That's directly fucking with reboots whole system of progression. I don't care if they make it more expensive for reboot, I can handle grinding a bit more, but completely timegating us and punishing us for even thinking about playing the game is so dumb to me.
Well shit. I just came back recently for the Hyperion Reboot Hyper Burning Event, and I've been busy grinding to get to 260 ASAP since I have only a month left. What a time to be a returning player. This suddenly explains the Smegas I keep seeing lol.
Every big game companies are following the same model of "free to play" game but has predatory and greedy tatics to get u to spent money. Sad thing is that its working so they will always be incentivised unless players take a stance.
Oh. I literally just installed Maplestory after hearing about the addition of job 6 and was planning to play it this weekend. Guess I can go ahead and uninstall and free up that time again.
Wonky and the rest of upper management needs to submit a formal letter of apology to their shareholders and players and then immediately step down from their positions. Cubes not costing nx sounds good though. Revolt against the meso change though 100% revolt revolt revolt. Make them regret even suggesting it and watch their stock price go away.
No, cubes not costing nx is bad too, it just means that they can screw with the rates without any consequence because it dosent cost real money anymore, this is just a huge shitshow
@@jowellnim9459 i didnt think about it you're totally right. I want wonky and the rest of them to step down so bad. We need developers who can actually create improvements to the game not to swindle players out of money by manipulating rolls. Didn't Nexon have another game, kinda like Maplestory, where they made changes to the Global/NA version, until they decided they couldn't be bothered/weren't making enough? And then shortly pulled the plug after less than a year? It's almost as if they don't like NA because the playerbase isn't as willing to swipe. Between this and the fact that this is a response to being caught rigging what is effectively a lootbox system (Cubes for NX), rather than...not rigging? We thought Sewage was bad, this company just brought a whole new meaning to "bad taste".
Wait, I'm not sure I got one thing right: are they nerfing only the meso rates on reboot or the boss crystals too? It makes a big difference to me since bosses constitute my main income in the server and, unlike on the regular ones, it's actually enough to see progress every week.
Hmm, even though it was a big decision I was happy to move from my ~8300 Legion in Aurora and start fresh in the newest Reboot server. But this changes everything. Not sure what I'm gonna do now
This is a pretty drastic change, I wonder if it'll finally spur people to quit instead of licking up any compensation and continue playing and spending.
It is the DUMBEST business decision they have made like it literally makes NO sense i cannot comprehend their decision LMFAO fire the team that suggested this
This meso farm limit is great for meso sellers as now the value of mesos is going up. They can just automatically switch characters. While people playing are used to their main and probably don't want to manage multiple farming characters/accounts.
It's so hard to have fun playing MS atm... I'm a Dutch player so there's no incentive to play either Reboot or GMS... This is gonna be the nail in the coffin for me. I'm gonna play other games
I am playing in maplesea where a purple cube in the game world costs 150m in the auction house. These changes would reduce rerolling cost in additon to being a black/choice effect. But who knows.. maybe maplesea would increase the cost of rerolling instead.
They will announce changes AFTER VacPet sale, also RTM it's gonna be up, farmers can make multi accounts and farm meso that way and sell it to you outside meso market and WHO inject money in meso market beside players?.... Nexon. Like blizzard and the auction house were no one knows from where the gold came.
Hey coppersan, can you make a video about Maple story world? There seems like there is a old school Maple server on there. It is really popular on twitch atm. I was wondering how this is possible and what are the plans for the global release.
I come back from time to time just because of nostalgia. But I don’t plan nor have the time to hit a ‘cap’ on an in game highly obtainable currency every day to hope to be able to do the things I want. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be coming back for anything major for quite awhile, if ever. I always have given MapleStory props for staying alive & in some ways staying fun for an MMO, but these past couple of years each decision they make I’m just like… what? what are y’all doing? 😒😭
Nexon's bottom line is: max amount of misery (for their players) +least amount of effort (for qol usually) +most amount of profit (for themselves). If nexon really cared about botting, they'd increase moderation of bots, or use some type of anti botting software or captcha. But that costs money. With this change though they get to hit three birds with a single patch. Actual players grind less and have less mesos, while also getting less out of their meso gear, becoming miserable Botting meso farmers are controlled its a relatively easy thing to implement. And nexon gains profit by becoming the main supplier of mesos (with nx of course) to invested players.
KMS already has a strong capcha system, as well as needing a korean phone number to make an account, their botting is practically non existent compared to gms. the thing is they just don't care, gms means nothing to them aside from a few extra bucks
I don’t play on kms so I have no idea what it’s like over there or how this could be beneficial to kms. But as a gms player… I’m just baffled. Like what the heck is that change? The killing the meso rates on reboot means there’s no reason to play the server, but even more baffling is the meso cap: what the heck? Maplestory is classically the ultimate grind fest and they want to… kill grinding? Just seems weird to me, I feel like maplestory’s content is so geared towards grinding instead of doing some daily login stuff and then logging out that the change just doesn’t make sense for the game. It just makes progression sluggishly slow, not that it was fast to begin with.
so if reboot'ss meso rate goes down from 6x-> to 1x, does this apply for bossing too when selling the crystals? or will the price still be same? and this only applies on grinding?
Purchasing cubes in the Regular Server using mesos is, to be honest, not a wise decision. When comparing the prices of a single cube in the Reboot and Regular servers, there is a significant disparity. In the Regular Server, most players find it impractical to buy cubes through the mesos market, as the cost is considerably higher compared to Reboot.
They tried painting this as a way of gaining player's trust. They think we're dumb. It was obvious even in KMS that Reboot KMS has been closed for a full year, not due to technical issues, but for Nexon to stop all the KMS players from moving to Reboot because they're scared of Reboot progression, Reg monetization, rather than find a way to monetize Reboot fairly. Doesn't help overseas since KMS Reg absolutely loathe how Reboot can progress, while they spend to progress, value their items as NFTs. This is concerning for all, as it gates new players, less people to play with or catchup in the future, No mention of Starforce at all, which is an ton of meso. Their incompetency goes deeper than we thought
That’s beyond stupid. What are they so afraid of? Moving a game further away from predatory mechanics by giving KMS actual Reboot servers would entice new players and others to return to the game, these restrictions are just going to lead anyone with common sense to quit in GMS and leave only the whales remaining in KMS, thus putting Nexon out of a job in no time once they shut down the servers due to lack of profit.
@@lolsucks3599 That with surprise style boxes seems like it is working for GMS; however, they are concerned about KMS since that's where the money is at. They could try stuff like that for KMS, but reg server economy is also huge there, so they're scared
He's updating us on massive potential changes to the game direction on the horizon, much bigger than small petty kms drama because there's a chance this comes to all regions

Yesterday i was at the point that i would buy a vac pet for 100bucks but now they dont deserve my money until they annouce that these changes arent coming to GMS. I'd like to start on regular server now but i would miss the abyss legion block :(
As a F2P reg server player on Aurora, the change is actually positive for me since the Meso to Maple point ratio is so low it costs about 500mil for 2 black cubes. With the change theyre pretty much lowering the costs of cubes by almost 10x. But also I feel like I'm literally the only type of player to benefit from this change lmao
I was also F2P on Aurora since its Windia days, but I was excited to start from scratch on Hyperion. I just wish these changes were announced earlier, because instead of starting a whole new account maybe I could have used hyper burning to create a new main in Aurora instead
Theory: Destroy reboot by constant nerfs, update reg servers until they are the preferred server type, open up paid server transfers between reboot and reg, keep reboot under water with nerfs and lack of support until all the people with money have been funnelled into reg server. That way they get a lot of cash from transfers going from reboot to reg servers and they destroy reboot while moving the paying players back to reg server. Of course Nexon wouldn't do anything that dastardly, but it's fun to theorize.
Uh, I can completely see Nexon doing that, IF they profited off it. However, it doesn't make sense how this would even benefit them, tbh, because the biggest $$$ difference between reg and reboot is NX for cubes, but they're getting rid of that too.
@@GeekProdigyGuy If that's true and they no longer have incentive to funnel people into reg server from KMS reboot, I assume they will unlock reboot in KMS? Otherwise there must still be some incentive.
The meso cap is probably so that nexon can become the main meso supplier. I think they are trying to move from selling cubes to selling meso so that they can keep screwing with the odds without consequences.

It is seriously just their greed showing. They were caught manipulating their rates and decide to screw players even more, especially Reboot. Seriously hate these game directors.
They make cubes for meso on reg and that’s greed? How
@@Mckhusyes, but now you limited on getting meso’s…
As others have said it’s pretty deep ingrained cultural pressure, questioning senior management is almost unheard of
I’ve been saying this for well over a decade.
Cya brooo :(
Every time I become a active player, Nexon does something that makes me become a seasonal player or quit entirely.
Yeah man I tried to play again and the other players were not responsive and I just couldn’t figure out what to do
No more KPQ and carnival PQ.
Only 9 days in the new year.....this bodes well
why does this happen right after I come back having spent 10 years without playing?
Losing 4x meso rate, getting daily meso cap, potential boss crystal removal/nerfs, and way higher cubing cost compared to current?
If this hits GMS reboot I'm organizing a good bye party in Henesys then uninstalling

Updates should make a game better not worse
Perhaps they want KMS reg server players to rally and want cubes for NX again, justifying Nexon to their FTC?
Prevent framers/bots when there is 0 trading in reboot... right...
So, I'm looking forward to see how this progress, maybe, ultimately Regular and Reboot servers would become one again because now there would not be P2W in terms of Cubing.
its only bad to the reboot server bro, reg server wil just carry on
Bro had me hypnotized by the cubing rather than hearing him talking😂
Then it's possible these changes might average out, but I honestly doubt they would do that
Starforce is already so expensive though, and the 30% chance for success after 16* is ridiculous.

What a strange time for me to fall in love with this game again.. 🎉😅
Once more I gotta ask, if they want to keep making reboot closer and closer to reg, what is the point of having them be separate?
Nexon's bottom line is:
max amount of misery (for their players)
+least amount of effort (for qol usually)
+most amount of profit (for themselves).
If nexon really cared about botting, they'd increase moderation of bots, or use some type of anti botting software or captcha. But that costs money.
With this change though they get to hit three birds with a single patch.
Actual players grind less and have less mesos, while also getting less out of their meso gear, becoming miserable
Botting meso farmers are controlled
its a relatively easy thing to implement.
Absolutely insane to do a sweeping change aimed at fixing reg server problems but also for whatever reason just apply it to reboot as well
I'd been debating returning. I think that debate has been thoroughly put to rest.
Im REALLY hoping that these changes dont come to GMS, we´ll see how this goes
Now they will sell mesos for Nx :3. Happy 2024
I think if they do VAC Pets and Battle Passes isnt that enough money they make in Reboot?
@@lolsucks3599 That with surprise style boxes seems like it is working for GMS; however, they are concerned about KMS since that's where the money is at. They could try stuff like that for KMS, but reg server economy is also huge there, so they're scared
Funny how coppersan is able to make content just from drama alone
He's updating us on massive potential changes to the game direction on the horizon, much bigger than small petty kms drama because there's a chance this comes to all regions
I started a month ago and i didnt know if i should play reg or reboot. I choosed reboot for higher meso and the worth-grind. If theses changes are coming to GMS Reboot i would regret my choice not to start on regular. Whats the difference between reg and reboot with these changes? NOTHING! Yesterday i was at the point that i would buy a vac pet for 100bucks but now they dont deserve my money until they annouce that these changes arent coming to GMS.
I'd like to start on regular server now but i would miss the abyss legion block :(
No more NX for me until they confirm what's going on for GMS/Reboot. If we get these changes then I will probably stop playing.
And now, Mapleland became the real maplestory in South Korea 😂
how about gold seller and cube seller service for alt chart ??
It's almost funny how their kneejerk reaction was to nerf Reboot... almost...
Does anyone know any of the kms forums to see what the player base reactions are?
As a F2P reg server player on Aurora, the change is actually positive for me since the Meso to Maple point ratio is so low it costs about 500mil for 2 black cubes. With the change theyre pretty much lowering the costs of cubes by almost 10x.
But also I feel like I'm literally the only type of player to benefit from this change lmao
I was also F2P on Aurora since its Windia days, but I was excited to start from scratch on Hyperion. I just wish these changes were announced earlier, because instead of starting a whole new account maybe I could have used hyper burning to create a new main in Aurora instead
iirc, Korean reg server players have been big mad over reboot for the last year and change. Like BIG mad.
We should demand a remake of old maplestory. Before big bang ideally v62-v75
