Ferret equitment part 2

Simon Whitehead runs through the basics of what a well-equipped ferreter needs for a successful day in the field
My truck is rammed full with bits and bobs for good reason. I haven't the luxury of running back home to pick things up so I have collected what I believe is useful, whatever type or terrain I am ferreting in at whichever season of the year. You cannot definitely say that one net, spade or indeed ferret is better than another. What you can do is learn from the basic mechanics of the equipment available and then use it in a way that is right for you.
