- Bumpers, promo spots, and commercials that aired on Cartoon Network (mainly during the Johnny Quest slot of the Toonami and Super Chunk programming blocks) from August 1998 through November 1998.
AT LAST, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS of collecting classic CN bumpers on RUclips. The Freakazoid bumpers have come!
Here's what aired on toonami at that time in around 1998
4:00pm Sailor Moon
4:30pm Thundercats
5:00pm Real Adventures of Jonny Quest
5:30pm Real Adventures of Jonny Quest
ALL AIRED DURING TOONAMI'S RE-QUEST WEEKDAYS where they air back to back Real Adventures of Jonny Quest episodes at 5 and 5:30
i wana cry so bad right now...
there were nights when I was younger I would stay up late watching cartoons/drawing. I'd often be the only one up but couldnt go to sleep at my grandmothers house. I remember it being dark and I'd have night terrors...kinda scared. But to calm my nerves, i'd turn on cartoon network. it just always had this very comforting, welcoming warm feeling. Like it truly respected its properties and its viewers...
I feel now, i dont get that warm well-thought-out feeling. especially with adult swim. I feel bad for children similar to me at that time...
idk
Cartoon Network did the same for me as a kid. I believe us 90s kids were truly blessed.
I miss the old toonami
I think no one could fall asleep without watching toonami at night
durning the summertime
Before Toonami begin in its hours, here's an evolution of Coming Up Next bumpers from the Powerhouse era. The first Coming Up Next bumper during the Moltar era is the Blue "Wrecking Ball" bumper. It was quickly replaced by the Purple "Superfist" bumper, which is used from the later half to the Moltar era to the first two generations of TOM, and it soon to be replaced in 2003 by the "SuperNEXT" bumper before it was quickly dropped.
35:35 I just saw Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theatre Promo Preview (1998)
When we return, Beetlejuice's head will
(raps) spin round round baby round round round like a record baby round round round round
Nice upload dude! Most of these Animaniacs promos are new to me, and I don't think I've seen any bumpers for Beetlejuice & Freakazoid with voiceovers besides these.

Welch's jelly ad - Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United
Boy: Look! It's Ben Tennyson and Rex Salazar. They're in Welch's new jelly glasses with scenes from Cartoon Network's new movie: Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United.
Rex: You are totally getting punk-busted!
Boy: You can collect all 6 and follow the story about Ben and Rex's battle against an evil threat. After the jelly's gone, they make great juice glasses. I love Welch's jelly, especially with a friend.
Welch's jelly ad - Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers
Boy: Guess what? Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are on a quest to be great musketeers.
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: All for one and one for all!
Boy: So am I with Welch's new jelly glasses with scenes from Disney's new movie: Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers.
Mickey: We'll save ya!
Boy: You can collect all 6 and follow the story about friendship and teamwork. After the jelly's gone, they make great juice glasses. I love happy endings.
"Coming up next, it's Batman, followed by Beetlejuice on Cartoon Network."
"Coming up next, it's Beetlejuice, followed by Freakazoid on Cartoon Network."
"Coming up next, it's Freakazoid, followed by 2 Stupid Dogs on Cartoon Network."
"Coming up next, it's 2 Stupid Dogs, followed by Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network."
"Coming up next, it's more Super Chunk, followed by Scooby-Doo on Cartoon Network."

So I'm thinking that the Super Chunk of Real Adventures of Jonny Quest seen here wasn't from 1999. The "Sailor Moon: The Lost Episodes" promos dispersed throughout the broadcast seem to indicate that it aired in late November 1998.
Thanks for the great catch! Yeah, the Sailor Moon: Lost Episodes promo and the Babe in the Big City ad would suggest November of 1998.
Originally there was a recording of the first episode of the Dilbert cartoon about 2/3rds of the way through this tape (I spliced it out at the 51:30 mark), which debuted in January of 1999, so I assumed that what followed it was chronological. In actuality, it looks like this tape was of Cartoon Network stuff from mid to late 98, and then the Dilbert cartoon was later recorded on top of what was already there.
Recorded August 25th & November 21st, 1998.
46:45 I didn't know there was a superchunk block of the real adventures of Jonny Quest
Announcer: Today on Super Chunk, we're going zany to the max. Animaniacs.
Announcer: Okay. Everybody get your pencils, notebooks, and toon gags because you'll enjoy watching Tiny Toon Adventures on the next Super Chunk. The Tiny Toon Adventures Super Chunk, next Saturday on Cartoon Network.
