Professor B.M. Hegde is a medical scientist, educationist and author who has contributed immensely in the field of healthcare medical science, and is known for his holistic approach. He has been bestowed the prestigious Padma Bhushan award in 2010. He works towards putting together a system of medical care delivery which is authentic, inexpensive, patient friendly and easily accessible.

*This is so true. I was having light pain in my upper abdomen. I started searching on Google. The results says it is mostly the liver decease..i was frightened, the pain started growing. It went to a level that i was usable to sleep..i went to doctor, he prescribed all blood test and ultrasound scanning. I went to the doctor with the test results. He said there is nothing to worry, results look normal.I was relieved, surprisingly, the pain just disappeared and i was feeling comfortable..doctor said you probably had stress that could be one of the reasons of your issue.. that was true bcs i was going through stress from the work..Stress is the real enemy.*

Very valuable speech by Dr Hegde.---7.58 --- correct, v needs to take the medication on compulsory basis nly, coz they mostly modify the bio- chemical activities of the liver.
If Liver gone, the body system will not work properly.......
ADR- Adverse Drug reactions - to avoid this ,try to minimise the drug intake when prescribed, after the illness was cleared need to stop the medication, and try to maintain healthy lifestyle ---- Good nutritional diet,sound sleep ( atleast 6hour's), rest for an hour everyday after our regular works completed. That's why women were healthy than men.... women were practices meditation methods to maintain healthy body and soul ....
Men will think about the situations , and they won't take rest, they keep thinking about something, So they must take rest as they have time in a day.....

Superb guidance from BM Hegde Sir. Just a thought, in a family if someone is suffering with some sickness, it is the family who have to be positive more than the patient. Coz if the patient is positive and other members don't possess the same attitude, then it may take more longer for the patient to recover.
