The question of 2/4 versus 3/4 and the various options for 2/4 is very interesting. a perhaps not very significant observation, perhaps a simple curiosity: this mazurka in C major is indicated here as n. 2 while on wikipedia and also in my collection (Peters edition) as n. 3 and vice versa for the one in D major.
