Honestly, repetition. I did this category and this category only for like 2 months, refined the route to my abilities and have over 1000 attempts in this category now. I don’t keep track of what I’ve scanned, I just know that if I’ve gone to an area, I’ve most likely scanned the things there. Also certain things that I miss in some areas, I’ll have to make mental note of them so I can track them down later. We also have a spreadsheet listing every databank entry. I also can check at the end of the run, the number of new databank entries that I haven’t checked, to see which areas I have missed something in. It’s very intimidating to anyone to have to memorize all of the things you have to do.
If you have a flooded base, update the base, and leave, you activate a glitch known as super seaglide. That’s why I flooded my base near the start of the run.

I don't know how many people know this but in the prawn suit, if you use the grapple arm and grab a small fish like a peeper or a biter, when you start walking in the prawn suit, you start gaining speed until you let go

This run is part of the glitched category, meaning any glitches that give us an advantage are allowed.
