    I am in love with that Mana Bloom synergy, I’m definitely building the deck more around keeping Keimi around and focusing on the drain aspect, but super cool deck tech. I also like Infect enchantments in this deck, especially Glistening Oil which can return to hand if Keimi or another creature dies.

      I like it! Infect gives us another possible win condition outside of the drain effects and Commander damage with Tatsunari. I swapped out Generous Visitor for it.

    Wondering if there will be a Keimi Token that is based on the alternate "anime style" art, would definitely be something I would get even if I did not build this deck!

      2 years later and I can say no, no there is not.
      I tried looking and I found some that look kinda like that frog but not really.
      I will try and make my own

    Great video, man. Definitely some cards in there that I wasn't aware of, that I'm gonna be slotting in!

    Am I the only person that think Keimi plus mutate could be awesome. I know you would have to try strike a balance of enchantment’s and creatures but the multiple drain triggers could be worth it

      Hmm, that's a really cool idea. IMO, black/green/blue are the best colors for mutate too. Though like you said, finding that balance between mutate creatures and enchantments might be tricky. You could also / alternatively use clone effects that get around the legend rule, like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces or Helm of the Host.

      Yah it works well I have gemrazer, Sea dasher octopus and parcel beast only so far but they are really good for getting better drains with kiemi's ability. I kinda want to put in Otrimi but with only 3 other mutate cards it's pretty jank. Who am I kidding im still gonna do it. So no your not the only person but its a more casual direction to build I think.

      @@danieldepass180 oh yeah for sure I don’t want to build it to be competitive, I thought of it and was like this will be fun and janky in all the right ways

      I think I have like 17 mutate creatures ready for this deck. Jamming all the mutates in sultai to make Tatsunari, Mutate rider a thing lol

    What do you think about Cloudstone Curio in this deck? With a 1 cost Enchantment on the battlefield and one in hand you could bounce and cast like crazy.

      Great idea - I swapped out Mind Slash for it. I didn't like that Mind Slash only hits a single opponent, and in some of my playtesting, the Keimi's drain effect contributed more to victory than sacrificing Keimi for value.

    Interesting deck. I want more jankier with mine converting my mutate deck with tatsunari. My goal being, obviously, to mutatr onto Keimi and maximize the dmg output when casting enchantment. I havent had a chance to play test it yet though.

      I love the idea of going mutate! I want to try and build a hybrid mutate enchantress deck where I can maximize life drain but possibly double it.

    • @clanechelon
      @clanechelon 2 года назад

      @@tangyboi6420 on paper, I like the idea. That being, mutate is more beneficial when stacked on one another as most abilities trigger for each time the creature mutate. Still, how many mutate Kemi will be required to be quite deadly i am not too sure. Mutate still feels flexible enough in any case. i have added sakashima and miror box as well

    • @tangyboi6420

      @@clanechelon Honestly i think the hard part of mutate is going to be how long it will take to ramp into getting like 5 or 6 Kiemi's vs cards that can loop with the life drain or life gain. I'm gonna load up my deck with enchantments, and enchantment creatures. Add some strong life drain with creatures & enchantments. I also think finding a way to diversify the life drain between artifacts, enchantments, and creatures is going to be the play so the counter isn't super easy.

    Would tainted aether be worth a slot in this?

    • @thecommandersbeacon1158
      @thecommandersbeacon1158  2 года назад

      Hmm, that's an interesting one I hadn't considered. I'm not sure. On the one hand, we could be sort of 'immune' to it, by continually sacrificing Keimi to Tainted Aether (though it would prevent us from actually doing anything useful with Keimi). And it could really disrupt our opponents, but it'd be dependent on those opponents' having creature-based strategies. I wouldn't want to play it and be more negatively affected by anyone else at the table.
      But it might work well, cool idea!
