Thank you Peggy , this is some very informative knowledge. I have an 1/2 acre of woods on my property that I've been working on transforming the under story into native abundance here in northern Ohio. I'd also like to thank C.L.C. for this presentation.🌸

This is a great presentation really informative As a native plant specialist for the City of Chicago some more native to our woodlands and good for shade gardens would be carrion flower , blue and white wood asters , yellow loosestrife, golden glow rudbeckia, ten petal and small leaf sunflower, fire pink ,downy wood mint and as a shrub cranberry viburnum . Golden grounsel and as an annual butterweed groundsel. These plants are prevelent in our Dan Ryan forest preserves you have covered most of the others .

This is Great. In southern IL near STL.
Is there a good place to go to get a list of all the plants you covered. I’m working on taking back 3 acres of hardwood timber. Currently covered in honey suckle. I want to plant nativs as I take it back!
