The whole family here in KY absolutely love watching your videos! So informative and entertaining! Got our golly whoppers and chop sticks ready to go! Keep up the good work!!!
Hooray both for the baby duckies and for your spontaneous enthusiasm for their showing up!!! Once again, the wildlife you discover in the out-of-the-way locations you prefer (away from annoying people who would likely scare the wildlife into hiding) makes going along with you an exceptionally delightful adventure for your fellow nature boys. THANKS, JUSTIN!!!
16:51 That's why you always tell Momma J where you're goin and answer her phone calls 😂😂😂😂. Those were awesome carp!! Always fun to watch the fight getting them in.
What I love is that you used to struggle making content during the catfish spawn. But now that you've incorporated carp fishing, you can put out content on your regular schedule. This is great! I've been an occasional carp fisherman for years. Looking at your equipment, I don't see anything for the type and lb test you use for carp fishing. You have 2lb test listed, but I know that's for ultralight fishing. Justin, do you mind sharing the line type and lb test you're using on your carp outings? I can see/hear the line is braid. What's your preferred line for these excursions? As always, love the content and the dialog Justin!
Congratz on a peaceful trip! My first kayak carp was fising a deadfall with a 2" gulp minnow. The 2nd or 3rd cast i hooked the trunk at the water line. I tugged on it a few times and no luck. While i was pulling anchor to paddle over and free it, my ultralight pulled sideways. Turned out a carp about the same size as your second fish in the vid had pulled my minnow off the trunk of the deadfall. Great fight!
For a smaller area of the creek that place was stacked...thats what u call good quality fun justin...thankyou for all the work you do and the great content...never been a carp guy but after seeing you do it and the runs they make im gonna invest in some bionic blade rods with either abu 6000's or rockets and order a bunch of carp stuff and give it a whirl
Justin, you’ve changed my entire fishing experience. Now I regularly fish for carp and am working on my first cat. Thank you a ton for videos like this and your good fun. The merch is great and I look forward to grabbing more in the future.
Thanks for my fishing fix again letting us go with you as always I appreciate the time and effort you put forth to great content and experience sharing and yeah we got rained out again today maybe tomorrow
I have a question, if you caught the world record channel cat would you claim it, and another question would you rather catch a turtle or a channel cat.
I found a decent size little creek like this a few weeks ago and got on some beautiful spawning blue cats, at least 15 fish over 15 pounds. Good times.
I know this is a carp video, but i jist wanted to say, since the last time i messaged you that i said something to you about fishing with skipjack. Well i gave it one more chance yesterday and i caught 2 blu cats and both were what you call fun sizers. One was in the teens and the other was probably close to 10 or so. Thank you for the advice.
Carp AKA Bugle Mouth Bass are really fun, but Kayak Carp isn't the same as Kayak Catfish is much BETTER so keep up the good work and thanks for the fun content!!
Big fan of your content and really like both catfish and carp videos. Quick question the last few videos I have watched were carp videos and the rods are different. Are you still using your adjustable catfish rods? I have been considering saving up for a couple but just noticed you have been using something different. Getting my kids into fishing so rods that can do all the heavy stuff then a few rods for lighter weight stuff like brim and crappie has been my plan so we can cover whatever we decide to target on a given day.
My catfish rods can be used for carp but they are heavier action than is needed. The catfish sumo chopstick rods are lighter action with a soft tip that is ideal for casting pack bait
@@KayakCatfish Thanks for the reply! Really helps when your just starting to be able to ask folks with more experience. Great channel can’t wait for the next video.
have you ever considered trying to catch those carp which you see cruising on or near the surface with a floating bait , bread crust is an old standby on this side of the pond but minnie marsh mallows work and so do the floating pellets that are sold to feed pond koi, it is not dificult but can be incredibley frustrating at times . its a bit like fly fishing but for fish with brains
@@KayakCatfish thank you sir I’ve tried tourney x pro but is all bass witch I don’t mind but would like to see a app with multiple species and tournaments not just one specific species
Try putting some plain old wheaties in a rag dunk it in water wring it out tightly now make a long ball on hook if wrung out tight it wont ever come off i catchem when others sit all day and dont nest bait ever nottom feeders so make it long not round yu know what shape dont sdd nothing in scents breakfast of champions will win carp contest bet on that
What a beautiful and peaceful area! Looked like fun and sure is nice to be all to yourself!
Crazy how when you started targeting carp, you wanted them for bait, and now it's just for fun 😂

Creek looks perfect. Great video. Thanks bro
I have a question, if you caught the world record channel cat would you claim it, and another question would you rather catch a turtle or a channel cat.
Personally channel cat over turtle anyday of the week. Legitimately sticks over turtles haha
Definitely a turtle and I would probably only claim the channel record if it paid something
Even a 30lb channel is close to 40 inches. Easily comparable to a fun size blue. Come on man!!! Lol
@@KayakCatfishI just needed to know cause me and my dad was talking about that.

I still have a rotary phone hooked up it works when power goes out.
Carp pull so hard it's always a good time.
Love the Musical-Rods!!🎣🎵🎶
Love the carp vids bro call you kayak carp from now on lol
Hello everyone from Dave Richmond, Indiana

Try using the carp rigs in deep water for cats 😂
GET'EM!
I love Baby Duckies. 😀👍 Dang this is an excellent video 😂
great video. nice carp. but you need to add, or carp and ultralight to your channel name lol. stay safe.
Love some kayak Carp fishing from Justin😂 good stuff man
7:05 and I'm still sitting here waiting for the Sandusky Bay video that was supposed to drop at 7.....😅🤣🤷♂️
It amazes me that Europe eats carp, and America doesn't.
Another great video Justin. What brand corn do you use and is it scented? Slow sinking or pop-up?
Thanks! I have been using Korda slow sinking. Each color is a different scent
Waters like that carp slowly cruise back and forth all day long in groups of 4 usually in creeks after a creek rises and falls
That second one was bait!
ye old fish. hope to see a mirror soon. they just cant resist that pack bait
Just found your channel and love the content. Curious about your yak rigs, make, model, setup, that kind of stuff.
There is a walk through video of my kayak on my channel
Just got back from night fishing, guy I was fishing with caught a 34" 20lb carp with cut bluegill and a 10/0 hook 😮😂
I bet that was a surprise
It was, but bit of a letdown, we thought we had a huge channel cat on, here at the pueblo res they've been catching them 40" long
Another awesome video 👍
What is the landing net that you are using?
It’s just a cheap net from Walmart
I ❤️ your vids
Hey man what's your recipe for your pack bait🤔🤔
Another great video thank you sir
Alligator gar love baby duckies

What app do you use for your online tournaments that you fish?
Fishing chaos

hey do you have a link to the net you are using
I got it at Walmart
@@KayakCatfish ok thanks
Fun fishing for carp
Your wasting your time trying to talk to carp. You can hold a conversation with cats but carp are just too tight lipped. Haha. Fun video.
Carp love up and muddy foods on bottom all new because of movement deposits stuff from elsewhere
Iam number one here 🤩❤️
When you go back to catfish I wish you’d give us a rough lb estimate of your fun size and larger fish you catch
Whatever happened at the competition ?
Those videos will be out next week
When are we gonna see the Sandusky bay video
Those videos will come out next week
Can't wait caught two huge channels there about two years ago both 30 inches long and about 20 pounds
Yea when the waters rise in those creeks those big boys will come in from the larger bodies of water
If I sent you this reel would you be interested in trying it out PISCIFUN®CARBON X II SPINNING REEL. It apparently two different retrieves on it.
I appreciate the offer but I am pretty happy with the reels I am currently using. Thank you though.
No problem enjoy the ultralight videos
Don't get me wrong, I think they are adorable. However, I would literally die if one touched me.
💯❤️
