Ironically - yet typically, Ulster Television closed down immediately after the film and didn't show 'Peace'.

I think with this particular issue about Northern Ireland, you can perhaps see why Ulster didn't transmit it!!!!

The very early hours (00.50-01.00) of Boxing Day 1984. Both the film (Home for the Holidays) and the epilogue Peace were pretty much fully networked, I believe.

I've just googled the film and, not only was it made-for-television in 1972, starring Jessica Walter (who played obsessive nutjob Evelyn in Play Misty For Me) and Sally Field amongst others but I DON'T think it was the kind of film to be putting on last thing on Christmas Night (except for Peace) because it was a horror thriller.

One of the Very Rare Times Where The Caption Good Night From Central is used Instead of Good Night.
