Dogs make life sweeter even when you don't have one. There's a dog in my street that comes to greet me whenever I happen to by and it just brightens my day! It's like dogs exist to make us happier with their very presence
I had a Westie named Missy and she was the smartest and sweetest dog I have ever owned. I've never had such a strong emotional connection with any of my other dogs, so it was really tough when she passed away.

Oh my goodness! My Westie would sneak into my bedroom & hide under the bed. Once, I was all settled in... who would pop up on the side? My little sneak & of course she got to get in with me. The Westie, the most lovable of the Terrier Group, per The Westminster Kennel Club. And they are rascals & comedians too.
Our westie is 15 years old and is still the sweetest baby even though she's blind and deaf. As soon as you put your hand in front of her she knows it's you and gets excited 🥰I know we may not have much time left with her but I'm grateful for the memories we have made ❤and that little kiss at the end MELTED MY HEARTTT
Ours is coming up to 16.. she's deaf and halfway blind too. We didn't allow her on the sofas or beds for a long time (the last 10 years or so) but now we've started bringing her up with us as she enjoys it so much, even just her and the kids on the sofa.
Yeah my moms shitzu coco was about 20 years old before she went blind and deaf. She just passed last year and miss that dog, had her since high school. She never barked and was so chill

There's a stiffness in their step, and jumping up gets to be a challenge. Like when the man taps the bed hoping she'll jump but then helps her up. I'm guessing she's about 8 or 9 in the video.
