This video captures the thrill of riding like few other amateur videos. This trail is amazing and you have really demonstrated the ability of a fat tire bike. Thank you for sharing this exhilerating experience!
As mentioned below. this video REALLY captured the fun of riding a bike. Not sure why. Clearly these guys are pro level riders yet I have seen plenty of that so whats special? Perhaps its the combo of riders Fat bikes and a tight tight trail that has tons of quick dips and lots of stuff to get caught on. What impresses me is their ability to turn their bike mid air and stick it to change a line. Fun to watch.
What amazed me the most was how fast they were going considering they've never seen the trail before. I was following them on my Epic 29er, I knew the trail, but got dropped like a bad habit!
Conrad Stoltz Yeah, it kinda bums me out in a way cuz I am beyond the age of getting handling skills like this or at least beyond where I can crash seriously at speed so watching this is fun. What impresses me is the turning skills. By that I mean they just know how to set up corners soooooo well. They just somehow flick their ride as so its now facing into the turn, using both ends simultaneously. It looks like this anyways. Lots of shit could have grabbed these guys is another amazing thing. I saw so many situations where I would be literally closing my eyes for a sec in hopes I make this corner or thread through these trees without my bar getting pulled. So many , oh shit, moments or potential ones. I prefer the vids where I can hear the riders, its more engaging than horrible metal core. Unbelievable that they never knew the trail! To ride at that level and that is definately pro level, you HAVE to be knowingly risking a crash or be right at that balance point, right? I mean, they are hard charging every corner and threading the tight stuff coming inches from trees, ha ha, wish I could ride like that. You know in Star Wars where OB1 says "Luke , you have the power."? Well, these guys have that for bikes and it pisses me off! Share some skills bro. Its like they find some real fast speed at which they just flow and once there are in sort of a bike to brain state where its almost one with you, I don't know, I have never ridden DH but I could imagine flow has so much to do with it as opposed to think like XC or Trail where you think OK I will get the best traction for a climb on that line, line choice isn't part of the equation at that speed. That was dumb, line choice has to be otherwise how to set up the turns? its just that everything is happening much faster, I think I can recall where I felt that sensation on a bike and it was messengering through traffic with a hot right at rush hour in the rain on a dark winter evening, yes, I felt something similar then with cars and wet pavement an no one can really see you, its the so many things at once, you just got to almost go by instinct. Miss that gig. Again, Some amazing riding.
Pablo Morales OK, so Pablo, how about doing what reasonably intelligent people do and offer me a reason why you made your comment? Please, I need to actually read your smart witty logic behind dropping such a stupid statement on such a benign and positive comment on a benign and positive sport and video. Now, I am going to point out some irony(look it up, I know, it's a big word). You call me "dude", I am clearly not your friend, so son't call me dude. "Are you LIKE 12?" LIKE no dude, I am not. Like try speaking unlike a fucking 12 year old before calling people out you dolt. Like, yo, you gets dat? If I were 12, I might say something like lick my balls you fucktard...but I am not. {Notice that? I used the word like where it is actually supposed to be.}
schlooonginator Excuse me,the pun was intended on my part."Dude, really? Are you like 12?" is the response to those of us that ride and go to the level of pure bliss. The bliss of riding and feeling 12 again, with our dudes as friends.I hope that was reasonably intelligent enough for you.Including you as a rider that gets" it" was probably wrong to do on my part.Take that as you will.I will be riding Pipeline on Tuesday.Come out and ride or help with trail maintenance. All is well, truly Pablo.
WTF ! Awesome... Amazing... pro riders, yeah, but wouahouuu... little trail, trees so closer.... I really live this run as it was me... and... so afraid at every lines change...!! So great done !
HI THERE. THANKS TO POST THIS AWESOME ADVENTURE VIDEO . I HAVE A FATBIKE. BUT I HAVE A QUESTION. MY WHEELS HAVE A LITTLE SMOOTH SURFACE. AND I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE WILL SUPPORT TO RIDE WELL ON AN FLOOR LIKE YOU ARE RIDING IN YOUR VIDEO...DO I HAVE TO CHANGE TO ROUGH SURFACE'S WHEELS ?. GREETINGS FROM BOLIVIA
As I watch these Fat Bikes I'm thinking fly by wire foot braking leaving hands free to control the bike, or switch between the two... early stages of what is possible with these bikes
Is the Bluto fork that much better than a standard carbon fork? I know that it will help in terms of absorption on trails, but if the bike is only going to be used for snow and sand is it really worth the money (and added weight)? Thanks
The Bluto suspension fork and Dropper post really adds to the ride experience. No terrain will be perfectly smooth everywhere (even sand/snow) so personally I'd go with front suspension.
I am in the process of figuring out if this is the bike for me , this video is crazy fast downhill fun! Seems like 2 little kids just flying down a hill and jumping and flying in the air! HOLLY Crap! I am 45 years old and i gotta do this... This makes me want this bike even more, all i gotta figure out is that , will i be able to ride this all the time? I have a old Gary Fisher bike, looking to make this fun again! Looks like i found it!
John I just ordered my fat bike,it will be here in August I'm 48 just get one john can't wait for mine ! Fun fun fun and when it snows more fun ! Atvb steve

Men this is by far the best trail I ever seen hands down!!!
Always great to see others who laugh on a trail too. 👍🏼
Toro Park, one hell of a fun trail. I wonder if they made that soul crushing climb to the top on the fat bikes.
WTF ! Awesome... Amazing... pro riders, yeah, but wouahouuu... little trail, trees so closer.... I really live this run as it was me... and... so afraid at every lines change...!! So great done !

GREETINGS FROM BOLIVIA
That front tire has some good grip on dirt
Love my Specialized Fatboy bike!
Pipeline is good fun. Just that these guys are pros and could run any bike to it's full potential. I ride that trail at half speed at best. Haha!
Going to go ride Toro within the next few days! Looks so sick!
Have fun there!
They crushed this trail on those fat bikes. Makes me want to try one.
Fatbikes are life.

we like it
manualing a fat bike, huh?
Apparently they are very stable to manual. Also on GBCN or whatever it is, a presenter called Blake does a complete somersault on a fat bike.
Nice ride on a super cheap $4200 bike.
they ride on bikes that are well over 10k all the time...
Fabio Spelta daym , $4200 is super cheap?! You’re just too cool for us
tree sandwich anyone?
Sweeet!
I had to play this muted.... gets annoying lol!
I would stop, turn over, slap him and tell him to stop commenting every drop with his aykward laughter.
Too much fast
