This video is about The Spa Guy taking you to see the Real Bonnie & Clyde car that is on display at Whiskey Pete's in Primm Nevada.. Subscribe for more fun..
I was taken to the very spot of the ambush by my wife’s Grandfather before he died. As a young boy his father took him the morning after the ambush to the location where it happened. He grew up in the area and knew all the locals involved. Very interesting to hear the history first hand!
I saw that car last November at the Reagan library in Simi Valley. You can see the blood inside and all. They had an entire setup there with clothing and items Clyde had made by hand. It was super cool. I wish I could post pics here because I took lot. Love seeing it again. Glad I got to see it in person
I have been teased all my life about Bonnie and Clyde , because of my name being Bonnie . People would ask me where's Clyde ? lol...!! I would just say I don't know or tell them the only Clyde I know lives in Mississippi and he was my uncle Clyde . I just laughed about it . Their story is always legendary but , sad too . Too bad they chose to live their lives that way though. Thanks for sharing this Spa Guy !! You always have great videos !
Bonnie brown I know how you feel my name is Jill and they ask me where Jack is but when I reply I guess he is home it surprises them I do have a brother Jack and we lived on a hill very true but funny.
@@Nadeshiroo , lol ! That's funny . I always just laugh at them when they tease me . I have a pretty good since of humor . It don't bother me . When I was growing up my friend would call me Boney in stead of Bonnie bc I was so skinny . LOL!! And my Granny and my Great grandmother always called me Bunny....!! 🤣 I would just laugh and laugh when that would happen. Your story is cute though. I love it !!
Yes I know I just laugh to but when we were young it wasn't funny we were teased all the time now I look back and laugh it got really bad though one year when it had been raining real bad and the land was red clay and slick and we were going to get on the bus and Jack feel down I tried to grab him and fell myself and from there the whole year was awful. Lol
So very cool...must be the age thing but I find it funny we have basically the same interests. I got my curiosity of Bonny & Clyde from my dad. He loved the Warren Beatty movie, I did get to see Bonny’s grave in Dallas, I went to see Clyde’s but it’s in a private cemetery. Keep it tight brother, another stellar job😊🍾
I believe I saw the real kill car back in the 80s, in Tennessee. Can’t be for sure. There is a Bonnie and Clyde museum in Gisland, La. it’s small but a lot of info on them, a replica of the death car and other little oddities. I went during their anniversary of their death this year. They did a re-enactment of the shoot out. I also got to see the kill site. It was neat to see all of it. I love history.
Thanks for this video. The last casino i was in was due to horrid circumstances. Now that casino night memory has been replaced with this interesting info. HAPPIEST NEW YEAR 2 U AND URS SIR.
Thanks for another great bit of information. I can't seem to get enough of them from you and I check every day to see if you have added something new. The Lord blessed me the day he led me to your videos as I have received so much joy from viewing them! :o)
It seems like the sound on your videos is better than ever, have you added some new toys to the RUclips equipment? Great work man, I never miss a video of yours. If I was ranking my favorite channels you would be on the top of the list.
Great video I loved the story of bonnie and clyde (which was my grandfather name) and also my parents had a photo of the 2. Any ways I really enjoyed your videos. Take care. ..God bless you. ...curt
Enjoyed this a lot, like you when I was a kid I seen what was said to be the Bonnie & Clyde card in Gastonia N.C........Lot's of history in this video! Great job as always! From one North Carolineen to another.........Keep on keeping on and Tighten up!
i think there was a BAR used as the holes seem to be of different sizes.the heavy gauge steel used in cars back then would slow a .45 down quickly.but the .30-06 is a different story.
What a different mind set back then. The public were allowed to get that close to the bodies & the vehicle, lots of bits & pieces were taken for souvenirs
After setting up the ambush days in advance, 6 cops hid in the bushes and basically proceeded to butcher B & C, firing 176 bullets from 2 BARs, 2 Thompson sub-machine guns, a 30.06 and 30.30 rifle. They were chopped up pretty bad. The undertaker used almost a pound of body putty to fill the holes.
Hey Spa Guy, i saw a "Bonnie and Clyde Death Car" too when i was a kid. It was in a trailer just like you said. The one i saw was also in a shopping center parking lot near Charlotte, NC. It may have been the same one you saw. The things i remember about it were all of the bullet holes and that ugly shade of gray that it was painted. It was about the same color as wet concrete.
If this happened today CNN would say, "2 PEOPLE OUT DRIVING THEIR CARE WERE MURDERED BY POLICE". I just re-watched the Highway men on Netflix, thanks for this video!
always wondered what happened to the car-thx for sharing- i believe the letter is real, If Henry Ford was going to fake a celebrity endorsement I highly doubt Bonnie and Clyde would be on his list as a celebrity you would want endorsing your product. lol
I remember when Ashley, the Spa Guy and I sat around the table talking about creating this video. Ashley asked "Who's that guy?" And the Spa Guy said "I thought he was with you!"
Back in the early 60's...the Bonnie and Clyde car...was on tour... It was on a flatbed truck, that they had created a sort of tent-like cover around it. It came through my home town..and I paid a quarter...to walk through and see it.. The bullet holes are the same...but I think they must have polished it up a bit.. as the paint was duller, then.
is this on loan from the bonnie and clyde museum in LA or is their ford a fake? saw the supposed car as a kid growing up in tidewater, VA but have no idea if it was authenic.
From what we can gather this is the real one there were many fakes made.. My friend Dave The Insurance Guy did a video lining up the hole in this one to the original photos and it matches.. ruclips.net/video/oF1GjHvUILo/видео.html
Yes I've had a moment at times still do wanting to learn about bonnie & clyde. I took a book from school not knowing it would show them dead in the car or on the autoposy table. It was a bloody madness. They were shot up badly I think bonnie more then clyde and I've also seen the shirt in that book but lost it. I know they robbed and killed the ones who shot at them but I think they went way too far on how they plotted murdering them instead of putting them away, I couldn't do that but back then it was how it was
@@SpaGuy I know they were but I myself could not shoot up 2 humans and kill them if they killed or not. Like another subcriber said they knew 1 of the cops & he was never the same, it can mess you up & I just could never do it.
Hi You sure that's the real Car because in the Documentary talking to the cops that shot the car up they all say they saw the a Tan color Ford V8 coming " Tan color" this one is Green
Yes according to all of the information I can find this is the real one thought there are plenty of fakes.. By the way men are terrible with remembering colors.. I know I am.. Sorry Sir, no disrespect but it is NOT the actual car. Proof positive by looking at the crime scene picture and police movie film. 100 PERCENT NOT THE CAR.

I knew of the letter but did not know it was written while in Tulsa, my home town. A part of Tulsa history documented that i didnt know. Thank you!
Yes saw this car in 2007 it's a very interesting story.... I like to visit both graves one day ty keep em coming n tighten up !😊

I will add that to the list when we film Shreveport.. Thanks!!

I got to see Clyde's shirt when it was on display at the Dallas Public Library before it was sold and put on display at the casino.
Great history, call me crazy SG, but I live for what once was, and you really are great at what you do,
History is very interesting but surely you wouldn't have wanted to have lived in the times or world that Bonnie and Clyde came from.
@@AnthonyKiyola well, you only say that because you live in 2018
@@johnllewellyn7085 That's true but I'm certain that I wouldn't have liked to have lived through the Great Depression.
@@AnthonyKiyola your right about that, 20's-80s i think were the best of times,
that is amazing, i had no idea the car is on show....they never stood a chance...
Your videos are always great
Sad that the movie actually glorified criminals. Still this is a GREAT and INTERESTING video. Spa guy does a great job.
Yes their story does seem to be glorified when they were actually coldblooded killers..
Watch the Highwaymen. It doesn't glorify B & C. It's about the lawmen
Interesting and good video. Thanks BTB E G.

Very interesting. Are those bullet holes on the roof as well?
Very interesting. 👍
Thank you. Very interesting!
Must have been snipers in the trees to shoot down on the roof. You go to some interesting places with your travels.

Holy Cow ya think the law was tired of tracking them! They weren't playing around👀😱. How sad that they chose this path of life.
Their story is always legendary but , sad too .He was not a champion to me !

They were criminals who didn't care who they hurt.
what was it fifteen gunned them down didnt give them a chance to surrender , so brave
