I've been market gardening like 15 years and you are a quick learner my friend. You can seriously mess your body up being hunched over planting directly from trays. The less bending over the better, kinda like jail. I recommend wobblers for overhead. You are getting a lot of overlap.

Now I do everything that way, go fast, go hard & push,push! Just wondering why you don't use a dibber, like charles dowding does to make holes in the compost for transplants? I made one out of an old hard wood stake, sanded it up all good & gave it a few coats of bees wax, you can make them as long or as short as you like & carve in notches for spacing out plants as well as depth. Thanks Gary! I thrive in physically demanding tasks! Like being a chef for instance (my previous career). I don’t do much hand transplanting honestly. So just knocked that out that day and that’s all the hand transplanting I do for the year… I use a drill with bulb auger for tomatoes. But typically I’m using the paperpot transplanter for transplanted crops and direct seed g with the jang. This is a new leased property in which I pay rent with vegetables. So I decided to try some lower value crops since I have the extra space.
All your vegetables look so beautiful I don't see any kind of ragged leaves torn up by bugs or anything they just all look beautiful how in the world are you achieving this without gobs of pesticides and fertilizers?
I use a crap load of manure based compost and that’s pretty much all I use for fertilizer. If I need some extra I use the neversink blend from 7 springs. I try to use insect nets and beneficial insects for pest control. And I’ll use pyganic or BT as a knockdown spay before I release beneficial insects. But that’s about it. And I squish pests when I see them.

I'm going to guess that you have watched a lot of Curtis Stone videos? He was a very successful market gardener that has branched out doing other things now, but you are basically followed a lot of his methods. Same tools, and he was using and selling the Paper Pot transplanter about 7 years ago. He started on his home property and rented other backyards from people growing for markets and restaurants. It is cool to see his basic system working for other people.
Chef I ordered some of those Napoli carrots and got them a couple of days ago. Can’t wait to plant the seeds. I got an issue with fungus gnats in one of my GreenStalks I’m dealing with right now . Geez if it ain’t one thing……it’s something else. I don’t believe in giving up so I will handle my business……fungus gnats will loose👈🏾👊🏽 I will not start any new plants until I’m sure these little pesky gnats are gone.
