  • This is a short Railroad Documentary on the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Subdivision 5 This is the second episode in a video series called "Historic Rail Lines" where we will cover various different Rail Lines back in their heyday. The Rio Grande's Subdivision 5 was the backbone to the D&RGW as it ran from Utah to Colorado, connecting both states. This video starts in grand junction and ends in helper as we from east to west covering the whole route. This is truly old western railroading at its finest as the scenery is amazing along this rail line. Check out many stunning pictures and videos and learn something new about this historic rail line.     Excellent video! Love the Rio Grande Engines back in the day! Would love to see action from the Tennesse Pass lines.

    Ugly yellow things LOL 😂 I spent the first 35 years of my life living in Colorado and chasing the Rio Grande, and I model the Grand pre SP so you can call me a Rio Grande purest. Loved the video.

      I typically stick with American stufff but that might be a fun one to do to learn about overseas rail lines👌🏻
