    Looks good. You only need a small hole in the cover to allow the hatch lock to slip thru.

      I will do!! I am starting my project on my sailboat in 2 or 3 weeks from now! Watching your videos help me to become more confident on the task.ahead by giving me the realistic notion and guidance of what to do.
      My boat is a Morgan IO sloop center cockpit, would you guys by anychance have any videos made on that or similar vessel?

    I think i would make a frame for this that would go into the companion way recess and then install this on the frame. You could then just left it out and slide it back in. Drawback is then you would have to find someplace to store the frame. But what is one to do? Lol

    This is fantastic I love your video's. I am making walls out of canvas for our Gazebo and would like to make a roll up window with insect screen in it. Just not sure how to do it though. Any tips please.

    How do you lock it now....You covered the hasp

      True, you would have to make a cut out for the hasp. We did not do that.

    2" extra each side for a double hem? Wouldn't it be 3"?? your video shows her folding one inch over (which is 2") and then folding that over one more time (or inch) making it 3" -- right???

      Peg Wright I think it’s still just two inches each fold removed one inch of fabic so to speak
