Basically that would be during a correction pattern . As if we trade main impulses than we can't have that much variation. But yes, in case you are caught in something like this it can be a veru useful strategy to get out.
I'm actually sitting here almost at a loss for words. I was on demo- I have not gotten a live account yet; that is in the works. but i stumbled across a very very similar strategy myself after playing around and have not had a SINGLE loss other than one that i just decided to close early. this looks to be more refined where you can gain a certain amount of pips in profit....
my questions that I had while watching and trading are:
1. how do you add a take profit line on metatrader 4 for example
2. is the demo account any different than having fake money?
3. is it seriously this easy? I am itching to actually test this on a live account. what i have been doing so far is just having a sell and buy; once either reaches a profit i close the order. once the next (buy or sell) reaches a profit, i close the order. sometimes i don't even watch it. I literally sleep on it and the market has changed enough to give me much more profit on the orders I have left open through the night.
some remain seeming like losses but i have recovered every single one for profits on multiple times the initial lot......
i had to look up if i was tripping or not.

im telling myself that i need to confirm with a live account. with my method so far, you just have to be okay with seeing losses on your open orders; it never matters because it always turns to profit eventually at SOME POINT. atleast that is what i have noticed. i wonder what you think about this sincerely. Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all, but just how long will It take for us to recover, obviously there are strategies to maneuver in this present market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, or am I better off putting my money elsewhere?

I developed EA exactly as per this specification. It lost big in trending market. Overall it was loss for both 2019 and 2020.
I also developed an algo with this strategy. It consistently caused huge draw down and then it's a coin toss if it recovers. I wouldn't trade this strategy with real money.

very good logic but too risky. İf price goes sideways, you have to spend a lot of money to keep to do this and at one point you may finish your money to open a bigger position. İt means a very big loss is coming

This method is very close to the Zone Recovery publicised by Joe Nemeth back a few years ago. It is a kind of Martingale. You have to trade with a large account and start with the smallest unit or lot. You can be wiped out any time.

Typical Martingale variant. Works until it wipes account. Markets have a knack of finding weakness in every strategy eventually. In this example, theoretically market could range btwn targets longer than the account can handle. The key to trading is to focus on minimising drawdowns as priority 1, rather than elusive future profits or no loss fantasy. If you can keep drawdowns low then the side effect is organic profitability. Once you have mastered low drawdowns, then use the power of compounding to grow account. Compounding is slow at first but eventually explodes exponentially.

I'm not sure if there is an issue with translation and use of the English language but mathematically if you place two trades and one hits take profit and one hits stop loss that is a 50% win rate not a 100% win rate. Hedging a trade does not inherently make it a 100% win strategy. YOU ARE TAKING A LOSS ON 50% of your trades. there is nothing wrong with a 50% win rate if you are running a 2 to 1 risk reward ratio, but don't pretend you are winning 100% of your trades.

Hi Krel, I've never used Donchian channel so not an expert on it. Maybe someone with more experiance in the topic will reply to you comment. I'll have a look into Donchain channel one I have a minute. I'm curious if Ichinoku settings for it would do the better job then 10&20
