I remember that jingle! "O O O, It's Bonomo . . ." That's why I checked out this video. I liked chocolate and banana the best. Of course at this stage in life, I'd avoid chewing the candy - that is, if I can find it anywhere.
Man I have a vague recollection of that last ad ... and the candy itself . I don't think I liked it very much because I think it made me feel like it was trying to pull out my teeth if that's the candy I'm thinking of . I don't really remember seeing it ever being sold in the stores or on the shelves where we lived in the suburbs of Philly ... ... at least not after 1963 when I was five

Bonomo's Turkish Taffy seems to have the same chemical composition as the bubble gum included in packs of Topps trading cards. 😝
