Plain room and furniture, grey everything, boring. This is the Sheraton and supposed to be 'upgraded?' Not attractive or appealing.
That is a fair interpretation. I think they were going for modern, simple and Zen. The hotel has gone through a recent refurbishment and we were upgraded to this suite. But we have definitely noticed this decor trend.
