On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Mig-29 aged extremely well compared to other soviet models, it can still go toe to toe with its NATO counterparts and remains a viable alternative for most post-soviet arsenals. It was really amazing seeing it during airshows in Germany as it flew next to western aircraft. Sad to see that there will be no further modernization of this fighter and NATO countries sending them off to Ukraine, at least they will finish their life in a blaze of glory in the skies and not scrapped in some dusty hangar.

It's called misaligned turn circles ie matc(time in video -18.27). As you were defensive(los aft bandit behind 3/9 line) in the 2c fight with the viper your were trying to increase the aspect back to 180 degrees(ie high aspect) you can increase the aspect in various ways-lo and hi yoyo's being one option, you could also time an extension ie the reverse of a tcx(turn circle extension) or you could take the fight vertical using radial G and timing to force the fight back to 180 degrees as mentioned earlier. If flying with a savvy bandit however, he can utilise tcx's with lead turns or go for an energy excursion to take the shot preserving over the top airspeed and the subsequent overshoot-ie rolling scissor.

Yes, the offset two circle. That's how I get splashed in dogfight every time. I'm aware what it does, how to create, but not how to avoid or fix it. I can do nothing against when I try to rate, or make my reverse too soon when I go for one circle.
It's all about reading the cues, still that's the most difficult thing in dogfight, or maybe almost every sorts of fight in general lol.

personally as a pilot who often flubs my advantage, its great to get videos on how to fight into disadvantaged scenarios. one of my biggest issues is finding out what to do when plan a doesnt work out.
i personally think in gunfights; one circle fighters are generally very unforgiving, being that your win condition revolves around hitting a high aspect shot, and the fight gets worse and worse every second it drags on. do you agree with this idea? or is it much more even to you, who actually is good at dogfighting.

Early this time, pretty sure it's going to be great as always. Would absolutely love to see F-35 against SU-57, either dogfight or intercept. I know there are vids on that already but if it ain't GS it aint it, man

i knew gs is an amazing dog-fighter, but i could never imagine he can shoot down an enemy without even firing.. Insane :)

Well - in fact he did shoot that enemy, just some moments before it ended... And that maneuver-kill wouldnt have been possible without that ;)

This was very acrobatic. The way these 2 aircrafts use different flying techniques to down each other is stellar.
