You've brought joy to millions across the world, and one of your earliest & most exuberant fans was my sweet mother, who lived with me for several years until she passed away at 87, in April of this year. My mom was in severe physical pain caused by many health issues, but her true hardship was her sadness in outliving my dad for 12+ years. Nothing helped her put aside her troubles like watching videos of Claire, Carson, and the Crosby team. She ALWAYS smiled as she watched Claire sing, often mouthing the words of the song; hours later, she'd rave about Claire & Carson as she talked to friends who called to check on her. Thank you for the MANY happy hours you brought to the last years of my mother's life, and for the priceless memories I now have of her smiling & marveling at the dearest little singer of songs and her lovely, loving family.

Carson has his backpack on but no shoes LOL what a beautiful boy he is. And you're right, you will never get over them growing up. It's just something you don't get over. My boys are 45 and 44 and thoughts of them as babies are so cherished. And just so you know, you'll never get over the grandkids growing up either. Mine are driving around in cars. But what a blessing they all were and are. And watching your kids parent their kids is one of the greatest joys in life. You've got so much to look forward to. Sending my love. Thank you.

I am so grateful that you (Dave & Ashley) got to experience yet another joyful 1st day. You raise your children with intention and it must be so heartwarming to have 2 kids happily go to their 1st day, and 2 kids happily stay behind (well, there was a little nacho incentive factoring in there, but still ;) It will be fun to see the change in Millie as the months go on, as she will be so influenced by June (just like Carson was by Claire). I think you are in for a whole lot of Happy with your 2 little ones this year.
My baby just turned 18! I totally understand your sadness realizing how fast the grow up. At least you have all these great you-tube memories, probably almost too many to watch! Now my kids are 22 and 18! One college graduate and one high school senior! I am so proud of who each of them are becoming and have loved being their mom. It has been a whirlwind journey of school drop offs, girl scouts, birthday parties, sports events, coaching, school field trips,and chaperoning. Now I’m helping to keep them grounded, learn time management, and pursue their passions. Enjoy the adventure! On a personal level remember to keep pursuing your own dreams, I went back to school twice- got my master’s degree and am now finishing my doctorate. Keep the stories coming, fun to watch and remember when mine were that age!

I adored my son, the only child I was able to conceive, being little. I loved him in elementary school ages. I cried when he hit 14 and was growing up so fast, getting the teen attitude. His early 20s were just added teen years. But as he grew into real adulthood in his mid 20s he became a fascinating person to talk to. He had so many interests, so many things he learned by reading, searching, by podcasts, and he shared these things with me. Now in his mid 30s we are almost friends! I love our relationship and wouldn't take him back to childhood for anything. He was precious then, but our relationship is precious to me now

Whenever we’d hear that song my mom would always tell us how she loved having us around and she would miss us if we went to school (she homeschooled all five of my siblings and me in addition to other families’ children). Sometimes she’d tell us she didn’t just love us, but she also *liked* us.

I found my eyes full of tears at the end of this video, I'm so grateful you guys have this beautiful, precious and unique moments registered on camera and share it with the world. You guys are great parents and your kids are kind and inspiring little humans! This whole video was so emotional, I remember watching the video of Claire going to kindergarten a few years ago and now she's going to 3rd grade and Carson's going to 1st grade!!!!! Also I love how she gave her brother all these cute advices for his first day on school, you can see how much they love and care for each other ❤
My children are now 12 and 9. Although puberty has made an entrance in our family I still love when the kids get older. You can do so much more, talk about so much more. You are not tied to routines that should be kept. If they are hungry you can ask them to wait half an hour or so. Small children want their needs met immediately. They can sort out when they want to hang with friends themselves and can even take the bike there. I really like it. Sometimes I look back and get a bit nostalgic, but I wouldn’t say I want that stage back. The only thing I kind of miss is the oldest one isn’t that keen of being with the rest of the family. For her it’s all about friends right now. I try to remind myself that this is a natural stage as she starts to break free. We keep one night a week as a family time though when we play games or do other things together. She grumbles about it, but takes part anyway. We will try to keep this for as long as possible.

Cheese nachos June!! Lol. I always cried when my littles went to school. It’s like losing a little of their innocence. Suddenly “ the teachers said” is more important than what mom says! And someday looking back at these masked and muzzled little faces we are going to be even sadder. As usual thank you for a glimpse into a sweet loving family. Always gives me hope.

Oh, I just cried at the end!!! I had 3 boys going to school for years and years!! It is still hard for me to get over the fact that they are all in their 20's now. Soak up as much as you can!!

Be so proud of these little people that you’re raising to be such caring, loving big people. Seeing your young family always brings such a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart. I can't believe that Claire is in the 3rd grade & Carson is in the 1st grade. The time has just flown by. Ashley & Dave are great parents it must be very hard to send the kids back to school with all the COVID issues. I can't believe how fast all the Crosby kids are growing especially Claire. Hands down my favorite and first video I ever watched was Claire and her Dad singing You've Got a Friend In Me.

Thanks for the video! My twins (Jackson and Ava) started 5th grade this year and man oh man, this Mama heart can’t believe it. I feel the same way about what Dave said about loving them being little. They’re turning into such amazing tweens and I’m so stinking proud of them, but what a roller coaster of emotions watching them grow. Most amazing job on the planet, being a parent. ❤️

Cheese nachos June!! Lol. I always cried when my littles went to school. It’s like losing a little of their innocence. Suddenly “ the teachers said” is more important than what mom says! And someday looking back at these masked and muzzled little faces we are going to be even sadder. As usual thank you for a glimpse into a sweet loving family. Always gives me hope.
