That's amazing that you can implant lenses in the eye that have UV protection... can you please post a video about the dangers of wearing fake sunglasses with no UV protection, been trying to convince my mum and she won't listen 🙄
Thank you for your comprehensive and so informative video! Is it better in your opinion to buy only transparent non colorized glasses that filter the UV than glasses that filter also through the color the intensity of light? I remember to have read that the black of the eye that is a muscle needs the natural transition between obscurity to real light to function correctly and also give eye health, what's you opinion on this? Thank you very very much in advance !!!
Hello I have watched a few of your videos and they are very informative and helpful. I would appreciate it if you could answer my following question. Can looking directly into the sun for a second or two cause long term eye damage? I was on the train on my way back from school and in my tired state I accidentally looked into the sun which caused an immediate burning sensation in my eye. Would you reccomend that I see an optician even if there is no noticeable sight damage? Thank you much appreci
Faye Wren Medically, we just recommend 100% UV protection. Polarized lenses can help cut down glare and many people who fish or use boats prefer to wear them to improve their vision into the water. So, polarized is just a matter of preference. Thanks for the question!
You're probably spelling it wrong. It's a Pterygium, or, surfer's eye. Here is a link that explains it simply from the American Academy of Opthalmology www.aao.org/eye-health/diseases/pinguecula-pterygium

Some doctors say we need a little bit of sun in the eyes, first thing in the morning, to improve overall health. What say you?

Which glasses block UV-C? Most sunglasses only blocked UV-A and B but not UV-C.
He said the atmosphere and clouds end up blocking it so it’s not needed in sunglasses
