vro itna toh dimaag hai ki microwaves are not commercially used. micro are used for aircraft navigation mainly but radio is used for transmitting and receiving data. u go with radio but have bit knowledge about micro that yes micro is also used for transmitting info. both waves will have same parts - transmitter and receiver but unki receptivity will be for different waves depending on where it is used. and it is easy to understand given if u know how waves work :) good luck mate!
