Thanks for sharing! I applaud you. I have been struggling and fell, fracturing my elbow a few days ago trying to do a simple transition like the one you did first 😭. Watching your video trying to regain courage and confidence. I really admire you for doing your thing out in public by yourself!! Keep it up, you’re an inspiration 😍

What wheels do you use? Hardness and size

This video is ancient so I have no clue what I was using here but I can tell you what i use currently.
For outdoor skating with really rough ground I will use a 65 mm 78A wheel. Mine are Moxi Gummies but any that size will work.
If the ground is more forgiving then I will use Luminous wheels which are 62mm 85A
I'm still on the hunt for an indoor/rink wheel that I love but the Riedell Riva's are nice( and inexpensive) as are the Meneghini M rink hockey wheels.

@@MaryHadALittleHobby @MaryHadALittleHobby wow thank you for your rapid reply!
I'm very new to roller skating and I roll on chaya 78A 62mm on a new smooth outdoor basketball court and i was afraid that 78A might be too soft to roll smoothly, I will try loosen my wheels a bit more first before take harder wheels.
What is your suggestion on dancing outdoors in smooth surfaces? Still 85A?

@@angelhoegarden yes! That's what i use outdoors on smoother surfaces. 82A is ok too. Anything harder is too much for me.

Taking in another one of your great videos. Did you adjust the trucks of your skates at any point in your learning progress, maybe at the beginning for balance experiment?🫣 I'm a very beginner and outdoors is attempting to be a nemesis. Wood rink is far, and the streets are so abundant, I'm determined to conquer asphalt. Cracks and pebbles are the crux of the matter. I did invest in a pair of Riedell boot roller skates and outdoor wheels.
