Maybe you're confusing it with Fate Stay Night? Fate Zero was made as sort of a prequel series to it (looking at the grail war before that one), but it has much better animation quality than the original. ... And also most of the characters aren't in high school, and it isn't a harem anime at all. So I prefer it. :P
