Omg 5 years later im back. Yuta and Jaehyun has debuted. I didn't even know they were here, didn't pay attention to them so much back then. It just happened that I slowly loved them. Music videos are one thing. When it comes to a reality show marketed as a show primarily about EXO but then turns out to have more SM Rookies than was expected, it just ends up looking like shameless promotion. In my opinion, I got more of the rookies than EXO, which this show was supposedly made for. That does NOT happen in MVs. The actual group maintains the spotlight.
There's nothing wrong with SM Rookies being in here. It's just the fact that I heard and saw more of them than EXO is what is troublesome.

Desie Rickman Agree with you, Desie. There's a big difference between Exo's cameo appearance in SNSD or [whose fanname is Casanova?] and SM-rookies cameo in Exo's. SM-Rookies had a lot more lines and even appeared in the MV a whole lot more than Exo's cameo did. When I first saw Chanyeol, Kai and Baekhyun in TTS' 'Twinkle', I didn't even pay attention to them, because nobody actually knew them other than 'some pretty boys'. They also only appeared for a few secs.
When I saw the teaser of this (the behind the scenes) I thought only Exo- Chanyeol would appear in the MV/ and song.

It stated in the article that EXO would be remaking song by Kpop legendary groups with the participation of SM rookies and even other artists? I don't have any problem with their roles really, I thought it was just okay I mean I Chanyeol's acting from the start till the end and with Chen's voice this really screamed EXO with a special participation of some SM rookies. And this is only the first episode rather than complain, how about giving it a chance and wait for the next episode and see how it is. I believe SM Entertainment is just stepping up their game in advertising their rookies, with the use of EXO.
I'll accept how some are not happy with the roles but for those who are commenting that why SM rookies are here and that I only watch this because of EXO and i don't care about the rookies and many more it's very upsetting. I've always wanted for all fandoms in SMtown to respect each other like how they (the idols) respect each other. It's a turn off, really.
